Put it in the fridge for 2 hours. Scoop out balls with ice cream scoop. Roll in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Fry until golden brown! Crack chicken croquettes!
That sounds yummy too!
Sounds delicious! Will be trying it soon.
What a great idea! Is that your creation? I can't wait to try it 😀
Can I ask you something
OMG! Now this sounds really yummy!
Those liners make me uncomfortable...7, 8 hours of superheated plastic...what sort of chemicals are getting leeched into my food?
Me too
Lots of people use them but I don’t, either. So if you’re leery, forget that part of the video.
I was thinking the same thing I would never use that, I'll stick to cleaning my pot, but I get it she was going for simplicity. Looks yummy. 😊
Thank you for warning people, but no one said that YOU HAD TO USE the liners.
Tom Sisson
@@tomsisson660 Really?
I make a casserole like this but cook and shred the chicken or turkey, then mix in seasoning, shredded cheese and cream cheese (sour cream if you dont like cream cheese), a can of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup, add to a casserole dish, then you top it with homemade stuffing or Stove Top stuffing prepared as directions say. Bake at 350° until hot bubbly. Always a big hit. I am going to try it your way for something new. Looks delicious!
Thank you for sharing every week. We appreciate you putting time and effort in to sharing with us. We really appreciate you! I made this a few weeks ago. I didn't have bacon since I changed it up. I added a package of Ranch fiesta instead of reg. And a can of corn salsa. Was insanely good
I love the fact you can do it with frozen chicken pieces!!! That’s awsome thanks Annie!
No salt and pepper?
Thank you for your time and sharing your recipe!
The liners are safe. I use them often, & they do not melt into the food. They are very helpful with not having to soak or scrub the bowl of the crock pot. Cleanup is so easy.
I just don't trust cooking in plastic! Recipe looks great
All restaurants use plastic wrap inside of foil in the oven and steam tables!
@@catofthecastle1681 my son has been a chef for 20 years and has never heard of this practice! But I don't eat out much and most definitely do not cook with plastic.
Be careful with your statements! Maybe fast food or something....
As long as the bags say BPA free they’re safe to use.
@@hockey321smash that's what they say! I'll never trust it, but thankyou.
This is great over a big slice of cornbread... my husband's favorite!
Definitely going to try this!
I have been 'crocking' for 35 years, so I am not a novice. While I like your recipe, I have never in my life used liners. The pot itself can be easily cleaned, so why the liners?
I love using a liner. I hate doing dishes haha
And not environmentally responsible.
I don't scrub anything unnecessarily.
I’m not 100% convinced cooking something in plastic is healthy. Seems it will shed chemicals. Just me, I’m old 😂
@@hikerhobby1204agreed😊
Looking forward to trying this!
Looks easy and tasty!
Made this today! Easy & yummy!
Great, easy recipe!❤
Looks Delicious 😋 I'm going to make it. Thanks for sharing.
I didn’t know the beater approach to shredding chicken! I may try it!!
Looks good. Amazon sells replacement handles. I just bought one for mine a few weeks ago.
I've always wanted to make this...I will be trying this recipe 😁. Thanks for sharing. God bless ❤
Really looks tasty. Thank you.
Love you Annie! This is such a yummy dish! 💛
thank you!
You can cook direct rather than having a slow cooker linen.....which I think its unhealthy with the heat.....plastic/synthetic material.
WINNER, WINNER 🏆 CHICKEN DINNER 😆 🤣 😋 AND EVEN BETTER, MADE IN THE CROCK-POT , DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER OR EASIER, 😋 THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS DELISH RECIPE!❤ CAN'T WAIT TO TRY !!
Amazing!
Omw !!! unbelievable shame on all this NEGATIVE !!!!!! QUESTIONS and so called crap information . JEALOUSLY makes you narsty if the recipes does not apply to you why bother to watch it to the end .Annie you do you thanks for all your most exciting recipes i love it im so happy to always try something different follower from S.A ❤
Saying you would be leary of using the bags is not negativity, but your post sure is.
I agree! People make me so angry. If they think they can do better then they should do it!! If they don’t like the videos or the contents then move on!
@@teresacasselman353I agree, I just wish people would take a moment to consider the content creator’s feelings before commenting, just for a second.
Oh my yes I will try this ur awesome!
Bet that would be good over biscuits.😋
I ordered a cook book. Can’t wait to get it. Thank you!
Awesome! Thank you!
Just subscribed…saw your strawberry pretzel salad..and now this recipe. Just got a new crock pot from my son and daughter in law…this will be my first recipe to try in it! Thanks for sharing. 🌺
Same😋
I can almost smell and taste the fragrant results.
Looks delicious 😊👍
Ill try making this.
Thanks for the new recipe 😊😊😊
You can order a replacement lid😊. This recipe was so good. Thank you so much.
This looks good!! Can’t wait to try it. (I’m thinking over a Baked Potato.) Thanks for sharing!
I received my cookbook this past weekend and I can’t wait to try this recipe.😀
I just stumbled upon her channel. Love it!! Immediately subscribed AND ordered her cookbook (especially since she’s got a sale until 8/31). If you remember, please come back & share your experiences with the cookbook. Thanks! 😊
Thank you!
Thank you for following me!
@@MissAnniesHomeandKitchen You’re quite welcome! Maybe since I am subscribed to Mama Sue’s channel, yours popped up in my feed. You even did a video together. 🌸 I look forward to receiving both yours & Mama Sue’s cookbooks. Have a great day!
Enjoyed the video. I always rinse my chicken very well before cooking ; never use straight from bag.
Love the apron it says a lot 😉 😂
Love the vintage Crock-Pot too. All you need to do is buy a drawer or cabinet handle & screw it to your lid! So you don't burn yourself 😊
Thanks for sharing 7-18-2023👍🏽👍🏽❤, I am going to try this with cream cheese & cheese & cream of celery soup mix and ranch if I do not forget the ranch
I think chopping up some celery and onion and adding it to the chicken would be good along with a cream of chicken. You could even use onion soup mix instead of the ranch if you wanted. There are so many variations one could try.
I just found you and immediately subscribed!!!!!❤
We have so much in common I love the way you wash your hands after holding the chicken nobody shows that but that’s so important !! All of your recipes I seen look fantastic so many things I’ve been looking for and so easy, stuff that I love thank you!!! I Is your cookbook still available??
I can’t wait to try this recipe !!!
Awesome! Thank you! Yes, I have 3 cookbooks that you can find on my website. www.missannieshomeandkitchen.com
@@MissAnniesHomeandKitchen Thank you so much! I appreciate you replying!❤️ Oh yea we have the exact same crock pot!!
You are so sweet I love watching you. I had the same thing happened to my crockpot with the handle that fell off and I put a door knob that u would use for a cabinet door. Works great
I'm in awe of how this recipe takes familiar ingredients and transforms them into something extraordinary. It's a stroke of culinary brilliance.
Looks delicious 😋
Reminds me of a version of Outback’s Alice Spring Chicken.
Awesome recipe
I use the liners all the time. It doesn't affect taste of your meal. Easy clean up.
Shredded it into mush looking.
I must be living on mars! I have never heard of the mixer to shred chicken. GENIOUS! this is making my mouth water!!!! thank you for sharing!
Wow looks so delicious that some good crack
Could the cheese and bacon be added AFTER chicken is shredded I like tasting bits of bacon cheese will melt right?
You can buy a regular knob. Hope this helps
♥️♥️♥️
I've seen this using sour cream but, my son and I think the flavor is to strong. I like the idea of cream cheese instead. Can't what to try it this way.
Hello 👋, I'm a new subscriber and very glad to have found you. Do you know if leftovers of this recipe can be frozen? I have made this recipe before, but it was lost when I moved. You make it sound so easy, I want to make it again. Thank You for all You do to prepare and make your videos. May God Bless You and All Your Family ALWAYS and EVERYWHERE 🙏🙏🙏 💞💞💞 XOXOXO from Lois in Indiana.
I would think so! Thanks for subscribing!
This will be my new sloppy joe recipe to put on buns for a hot sandwich. I’ll call it “sloppy crack.”
Lol.
It would be great to show what it looks like at the end!
Skip ahead to about 8 min/15 sec and you will see the end. If you need a close up picture, there is one on my website. www.missannieshomeandkitchen.com/recipes-ideas/slow-cooker-crack-chicken
Not sure what to serve ot over rice or mashed potatoes or even pasta do you have a preference for which one would taste best....cant wait to try it❤️
Either! Egg noddles are also good.
You can change out were the broke handle was with and old pot lid handle that is similar made easy and thrift stores always has lots of lids and cheap .
This is delicious! I can tell you what happens if you don't press back the plastic liner. Still good. I used just one bar of cream cheese as it said in the recipe on your web site. Do you prefer one or two bars of cheese?
The written recipe is "usually" correct. I think I might have doubled this recipe on the video.
When you used the mixer on the chicken was the crock pot still on?
First time I watched your channel. I laughed pretty hard when you pulled the cream cheese back to put in the ranch. Considering it cook for 6 hours do you think it really makes a difference which goes in first or second? Nice video. You can order replacement lid knobs they are very inexpensive. 👍🇺🇸
Actually, I think it does make a difference. If the seasoning is directly on top of the chicken, the flavor gets infused into the chicken as it cooks. If the cream cheese blocks are between the chicken & the seasoning, you'll end up with chicken that's a lot less flavorful.
@@ellediane4972
Yeah cuz after 6 hours that chicken won't be infused at all 🤣😂
I think I’d use only one cream cheese and a can of cream of chicken soup!!
That is a very cute crockpot! Can’t you order a new lid? I’d think they are pretty universal from the same manufacturer. I can see why you don’t want to get rid of the whole thing!
I was able to get a new knob!
I don't have any ranch dressing packets. What else can I use?
I bought your teeth regimen products today!
👩🍳🐕🐈⬛🍗🧈🧂🧅🍄🧀🥓🐈👩🦼🌴Yummy..YUM!!!
Can I make this with Frozen thighs?
Serious question: Can I cook in a crockpot without using Hidden Valley Ranch or cream cheese (or both). My wife used to use the crockpot fairly frequently. Sadly, she is gone now and lately I have been trying to learn to use it. To start off with at least, I prefer the simple dump and go recipes, but I have found very few that don't use one or the other of these ingredients. While I have nothing against either one of them, I don't want all my food to taste the same.
You could try! Let me know how it goes!
I cooked on high 6 hours and my chicken still not done. Kinda still little pink inside. Turned it back on for another 2 hours. I guess we will see
If the breasts were really thick I can see that happening. I usually thaw out my breasts and then slice them in half.
How u get cookbook
You can find my cookbooks on my website. www.missannieshomeandkitchen.com/cookbook
We use it as a dip with triscuits or some other type of fancy crackers.
Add the cream cheese in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
I would like something added so it wasn't just meat & potatoes.. Would cooked corn added to the chicken be good you think?
Sure! Try corn, carrots, or beans!
I do 1 cream cheese and a container of sour cream
How do I get a cookbook?
www.missannieshomeandkitchen.com/cookbook You can order from my website!
Wow...all of those additions are making this an expensive dish
What is the purpose for shredding the chicken.
Preference.
Sorry can’t eat chicken I didn’t clean but I like the recipe
Your not one of those psychos that wash chicken are you?
It would make a great lasagna
Ms. Annie, pls check your URL. When I tried to get into the cookbook info, I got an error msg.
Oh shoot! I made some changes and it looks like I need to fix something. Thanks for letting me know, friend. www.missannieshomeandkitchen.com/cookbook
Too bad this isn’t something to live for😢.
I thought it was pretty bland. They only tasted the ranch dressing and no other seasoning I expected a little bit of taste or cake or something.
Hows darrel
Why is it called "crack?"
I think crack refers to using bacon, cheese, and something else together in a recipe. I forget!
@@MissAnniesHomeandKitchenno it doesn't. People refer to food as "crack " when it's something you can't stop eating... so it's like addictive.
"CRACK" WAY TO KEEP IT CLASSY
Annie20
Honey You are so sweet and I love your ideas. But the frozen chicken is very questionable. The bacon bits are so unhealthy..the liner is full of BPA 's. My opinion. Check your ingredients.
No , onliners, you are cooking in plastic!
Looks delicious. Don't you worry about toxins from the plastic bags leaching into you food??
Why is it called Crack Chicken?
Because it's SO good! 😃
@@MissAnniesHomeandKitchenyou might want to think about changing the name to something that doesn't have such negative connotation.
You touched the bag before washing hands
This is food for teethless persons.
No don't fancy that. A bit of a mess. I never use a liner.x
I talk waaaaaay too much
Isn’t this a cook show and not a selling site?
This is a business site. I share free recipes three times per week. I also have a cookbook for those that want it. It is not required by any means!
Y not use your platform to make money in whatever way you can. As long as your selling a product you believe in. Everyone on CZcams does this. Just because your miserable doesn't mean everyone else has to be.
Talk less
Your food looks wonderful, however it's full of very fatty foods, as well as processed foods. In my opinion very unhealthy!!! If you can do hard thing's...maybe you should try making a healthy dinner choice.🤷🤷🤷
Umm, what hard things did you do? You put processed food in a plastic bag, heated it and then mashed it into baby food.
