6:58 I believe this game is supposed to take place in Japan. I live in rural Japan, and the major delivery and mail services here (Japan Post, Sagawa, and Yamato) usually do not default to leaving your mail at your door like in other countries. If you cannot receive your mail in person and sign for it, even for simple Amazon packages, they will not just leave it at your doorstep. They will hold onto the package and leave a slip with a QR code for scheduling the redelivery.
Most apartments (mansions) here don’t have reception desks or large mail boxes, so if the package is bigger than an envelope, they won’t just leave it.
I have to schedule all my packages on Amazon to arrive when I am not at work. Otherwise, I can’t get my packages. So here in Japan, scheduled delivery at a specific time frame and day is a very necessary thing.

I'm pretty sure the rattling sound you keep hearing on floor 4 in the elevator is leading you to the collectable cans. Like you've said before, it sounds like a rattling can full of change and I believe I heard it just before you picked up the can from the bicycle basket.

Have you heard of the Haunted PS1 demo disc series? They're anthologies of horror games often with low poly or retro graphics.
It'd be right up your alley and be great for a let's play series with a lot of good potential for analysis of the horror genre and its tropes.

Love these ‘mundane’ type games! Makes me think of real life spooky experiences. Only complaint is how insanely dark it is. I could only see like 30% of the entire video with my screen brightness all the way up.. love the narration tho!

I had a question: have you ever played "Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines"? It is made in an early version of the source engine and is a cult classic. That game gave me liminal vibes like none other and has one part early on "Ocean House Hotel" that is a masterclass in suspense and horror. Absolutely recommend.

I heard about the hotel a long time ago, but I don't remember anything other than that it's surprisingly scary. I'm glad I don't remember, means the experience will be fresh when I play through it for a video.
@@TheLibrarianYT Definitely think you would enjoy it, and sweet! Recommend either the GOG version or getting the unofficial patch for the Steam version. Reason is that the normal Steam version is a little buggy and janky without.
I have been especially enjoying your playthroughs recently. I kinda hope you eventually play a little game called Lost in Vivo, It's got a stellar atmosphere that's really reminiscent of Silent Hill. It's $12 but I've seen it go on sale before. Anyways, keep it up 👍

There is an alternate ending where you find out it was the other tenants who killed the guy. In that ending we die and a cutscene goes to being the landlord watching a security clipping of the delivery guy discovering the fridge.

it's unexpected and more of a physiologic horror than *BS* like Outlast that just throw jumpscares everywhere and call itself "ScArY"
Btw you should also play Puppet Combo it's mostly survival horror so it's pretty hard be advised

i will say i hope when you end up doing another gmod vr video atleast read some what on the map cause it killed me when i watched you play ashville or ashevilla however its spelled cause you seemed to avoid alot of stuff even though it wasnt a horror map like yk with jumpscares not asking you to fully read them but it kinda took away the experience i was hoping to see and its a really well made map to.

I'm glad it's gone that way because I was hoping it would be longer but that red light and sound is too damn creepy yes there's an extra way to feel the tension and then make it seem like nothing is going to happen and then something jumps you you jump out of your skin and your heart stops

Seriously, WTF is up with flashlights in horror games? Do they even still manufacture flashlights which are that shitty? You can buy good quality Streamlight flashlights for like $60 US that will light up an entire apartment. Or, like, a Petzl headlamp for like $40. WTF?

Man Japan really like their cans of drinks I think the cans were more put each time you deliver parcel so they were restocked each time that's how you get quite a lot of them probably maybe all of them one might be for getting the bad ending maybe his package is the can itself but once doing the right thing was and finishing your job was the right way for the good ending usually it's backwards but I guess oh that's why they tried to get you to do all that extra work push you make you think screw it just leave when you had the chance you wanted to do and keep your job as you were ordered by your job people to do the residents weren't letting off very friendly vibes anyway
