Excellent analysis. Way better than the crap the big networks are offering, which is odd since they forner NBA player(s) on their shows.
Also of note: the Nugs were +7 in total rebounds & +5 offensive boards. The Nugs also had 5 fewer turnovers. This resulted in the Nuggets getting 10 more shot attempts. Those additional shot attempts erased all the things the Lakers were doing right. And late on the 4th quarter, the Nuggets are deadly.
I see the Lakers getting swept again and the Lakers will probably have to blow this team up and start over.

It's a combination of things. Nuggets played exceptionally well in 4th. Murray finally started hitting after going 3-16, Jokić took over inside in 4th and the defense and offense (8 of 9 in crunch time) were exceptional.
Sure, AD got his fourth foul and was gassed and useless in 4th and the Lakers went back to their regular shooting and not the insane 60% they were shooting in 1st half. They made errors, bad passes, shots. But the Nuggets clinically efficient play in the last 18mins was about their mental strength and style of play. Jokić & Murray came back from two consecutive series they were behind 3-1 when they started getting in playoffs. They've done this together enough times now in big games and playoffs.

I agree, or replaced them. Howard gave Jokic problems in the bubble and slowed him down, that's why I'm picking the T'wolves in the next round to beat the Nuggets, they have the same formula with Gobert and Towns, that the Lakers had in the bubble against the Nuggets.

No active player has a better playoff averages in these categories simultaneously than Jokic:
(anything) and Reb -- Jokic has the best RPG.
PPG and TS -- the higher-volume shooters have worse efficiency.
    PPG and 3P%
    3P% and AST
Only Luka has better PPG and APG than Jokic. -- Luka is exceptionally good but his efficiency numbers are weak because of constant tough shot attempts.
By the way, Jokic isn't known to be a 3p shooter or a high-volume shooter by any means. And here we are. Also among all past and active players, Jokic has the best career PER in both regular and post season. He is actively redefining what "efficient" means in basketball.

Can we actually be honest here? Lebron is old and way past his prime. He cant play a full game anymore and slows down by the 4th quarter. The rest of the Lakers are not "great" and crumbles without him. The Nuggest are a young team, can play better as the game goes on and are stacked with good to great players.
It shows every single time they play against each other.

Easily, that's how. The Lakers are a bad team. They're lazy, poor on defense, and have a really weak bench. Without referees rigging the bubble, the "championship Lakers" would have lost to Portland in the opening round... Never forget that

The Laker adjustment was obvious. Put Lebron in the post. He's got 4 inches and 50 lbs on KCP. Starting the offense w/ Lebron outside the 3 point line made no sense. Just no other way to say it. Dumb basketball.
