I am in my third year as a night shift nurse and have managed to maintain a work-life balance while teaching my children at home post night shifts.

OMG!!! Thank you so much for sharing!! I too am an RN working nights and I was wondering if I would be able to juggle homeschooling! You have inspired me so much! Please keep sharing! Thank you!
Currently a nursing student looking to homeschool after graduation. I love the program you use and the routine. Iâm recently divorced but have a great support system. Iâm looking forward to working nights and teaching through the day. Thank you for confirming itâs possible for us out there â€
You will be amazed at how quickly you can come up with a routine! â€â€ rooting for ya!
I have been homeschooling for the past two years and now Iâm starting work again on night shift and I was a bit worried if itâs really realistic to keep up homeschooling. But it sounds like you can make it work, and so can I. Thank you for sharing! đ
Take it day by day. Itâs not ALWAYS easy but itâs totally doable! You got this, mama!!
This was great! Subscribed đ. Night shift nurse and mom of 3 (7, 5 & 9 months), restarting our homeschool journey. So glad to see this channel.
Our littles are nearly the same exact age! 7,5,11 months! Itâs possible with lots of patience!
I'm a mom of 5 with kids ages 5, 7, 11, 12, and 13. We've been homeschooling consistently since right before the pandemic..I haven't worked since before becoming pregnant with my first... but now I started overnights as an In Home Cargiver an hour away. I'm not sure how my marriage will fare nor how homeschooling will go, but thank you for this video.
You are so welcome! Once you Find your rhythm youâll see how it can be done!
Thank you for your encouraging videos! I am currently an RN student and working on my BSN during the summer. This August will be the start of our ninth year of homeschooling (9th, 7th, 1st & a 2 yr old) and sometimes Iâm like, what am I doing and how am I going to do this. Thanks to your videos I know we can keep going because I can see the other side! â€
Wow! 9 years is so impressive!
Youâre going to shock yourself once youâre finished and establish both a homeschool routine AND work schedule combined! Keep it up!
I clicked subscribe so fast when I saw you were using Abeka AND then I saw Ms. Turner!!! đ„° My youngest daughter homeschooled my grandson with this program during COVID (all 3 of my daughters went to a school that used the Abeka curriculum YEARS ago). My daughter passed away January of 2023 and I am my grandsons legal guardian. This year has been challenging for us both. I left my 6-figure Nurse Educator job to be more present in his life and I felt led to homeschool him, pulling him out of a charter school at Christmas break. I am praying to get a PRN night time position I have just applied for-no where near the 6-figures, but FULL of peace!! I look forward to watching your journey and will try and share mine from a hands-on G-Mom's POV.
Iâm touched by reading your message! Sorry for your loss đ€ I pray that you keep encouraged and be blessed through your journey!
This gave me a new perspective for family planning! Iâm not married or have children but I want to homeschool my future family and I currently work in healthcare. Thank you stay blessedâ€ïž
Thatâs great!! Glad I can provide some insight!
wow super mom. great job
I'm in nursing school, and I wanted to homeschool thiking it was impossible â€
Itâs a lot of work! But definitely possible! Especially if you work three 12s!
Thank you so much for this video! I've been searching left and right to get inspiration for nurses who homeschool little ones. I mostly see advice from nurses who have older kids who are more independent. This is extremely helpful.
Would you say it's possible for nursing school students to be able to homeschool?
I am so glad that you found this video Helpful! It was a topic that I was also searching for when I started homeschooling young kids as a nightshift and Nurse. I am hoping that other nurses who also homeschool will find this video just as useful. I think going to nursing school and homeschooling is totally possible as long as you are not overwhelming yourself with having to work. I think that would be an almost impossible situation.
Thank you so much!
I'm a night RN as well and trying to find balance and first year homeschooling kindergarten. Thanks for video , you are amazing đ
