I'd love to see a road to diamond with Random. I've seen a lot of content creators take on one character at a time to masters, but to see you do it with random would be freaking awesome.

Imagine if Nephew makes Random to Masters a thing. He's already trying to take every character individually to Masters. So the logical conclusions to that series would Random. That would be epic.
Love that they included the option to level up separately with Random. It feels like they were thinking of the streamers and content creators with that one.
Of all the pleasant surprises of things they added to the game, one of my favourites is the random league in ranked. As a random select enjoyer since SFIV I am aiming to hit master rank.
Now I just need to memorize 18x3 super inputs.
At least a good portion of them are the same between characters.

If you look at stats, you can see if you've played against random as well. On my way to plat from silver, I apparently faced 2 randoms. That's awesome.
Looks like in the character portrait up by the health bars you have the random symbol inside of it showing you are rolling the dice.

This is my favourite video so far for SF6. The chaos, the mashing, coming out net negative. It was hilarious and a great insight into what happens when good players leave their comfort zone.

Reminds me of being able to rank as random in StarCraft 2, you could also unlock titles and portraits for exclusively winning as random, so if you saw someone with a portrait that requires 1000 wins as random.. yeah you were getting smoked

Honestly I respect you so much for your ability to stay calm while losing matches even back to back, to get obliterated and still smile, rematch, and commend your opponent is so commendable. Lord knows it could not be me
I've been really enjoying playing ranked as random select. I like that it forces me to rely on fundimentals.

My love for this game is so great that i challenged myself to get at least plat on every character and after finishing that I finally reached Diamond on the random button! If I can do it you definitely can!

I always played random in MvC3. It is the most fun way to explore the insane amount of choices you have.
In Tekken 6, Mokujin was the random character, and he rerolled not just every match, but every round.

Like Big Bird has been showing with his Marisa, her anti-air is either air-to-air or just armoring through whatever they throw at you with her armored options. It's just a different frame of mind.

I'd like to point out that it also shows that the Player has selected Random on the *_in-battle_* Character Icon, which is _quite nice_ (õ∀ó )ゝ
used to play random on street fighter 4 all the time because back then was an achievement hunter and was going for the achievement of getting everyone to rank c.
became my go to way to play the game because after a month I still don't have a character i have taken to and want to main.
As a Marisa main it warms my heart seeing the m.P m.P level 3 combo make someone else also say, "She does so much damage"
Couple things you should have done. Basic trails on all characters before this and dont rematch for another roll (the goal is to get diamond not to have principals) lol also those Gold players cant react to DI so using that alot more would have helped you out especially that guile who blocked the corner on burnout but was able to tech the grabs lol Thank you for the content though bro, your still the man ❤
The hardest challenge is not stopping for five minutes every time you hover Juri in the selection
I was stuck on Cammy during Street Fighter 4 & 5, but I've played random select almost exclusively in Street Fighter 6 and have been having a blast. I even made it to Platinum only after a few sessions (I would have gotten there quicker, but playing Dhalsim is so weird)

Also how is it fair that Marisa can do two noermals into level 3 and do 50% but us Cammy players have to spend almost all of our drive meter into level 3 to do this kind of damage.
Also also, there are a lot of bithes in this game who will rematch if they win, but run away if thay lose.

Skullgirls (and KOF) doesn't have functionality for sets so they do give you a new character every match.

I think more fighting games should do that. I would enjoy trying to make it to Celestial or other high ranks just playing random.

i payed full price for sf5 then if i wanted to play a random charactor online they wanted more money, so i was paywalled out of it. im glad sf6 has this at launch :)

Ppl quit out because they don’t want to lose rank …if it’s a close match they may but if u wash them …they gone lol maybe if they give u a portion of your LP back for the rematch or set they won’t 1 n done
I had a lot of fun. Reaction to crazy opponents, crazy characters, one and doning....that was fun. I'd rather have a 10 matches serie like that where you are having fun like that than a sweaty first to 10.

I was doing decently in gold in 5 with Eleven, and that's basically random select. It's a damn fun way to play, tbh.
You say basically but this is literally eleven but not as a dlc. Im not even grilling them per se, but do at least wish that since random select online came so late, he shouldve had a version 2 where it would do something different like forced mirror matches.
While I’m struggling in plat 3/4 with manon, JM casually drops that he got diamond in placement matches 😂
One and done is so annoying sometimes went on a 12 game win streak but that was after fighting 9 people, people are more scared to lose points than learn the game
"I do not know how to play this character." You're mashing stand medium punch target combo for your life. You're basically on par with 90% of master marisa players.
Random to diamond seems really entertaining
KoF re-rolls your random pick each match, ever since KoF 95. Some of the newer ones even allow you to pick random teams.
98, actually. KoF didn't had random as an option until 98, and I loved being able to get a new character to play every match with a single quarter.
I would love if SF6 also randomized every match. Heck, random every round like mokujin do in Tekken.

When you're playing random, your character portrait has a little symbol with a question mark. So the opponent may know.
