I can't believe we have to say goodbye to yet another music legend. My sister told me about David's passing at about 5:00 this morning. I didn't believe it, and I wrote it off as a rumor. But then, I went on the internet and found out that what she said is, unfortunately, true. Cancer has taken yet another person from this planet. David, thank you for the music. You have been a part of my life since childhood, thanks to "Labyrinth." You were an amazingly talented individual, and you will be missed.
I love listening to Bowie's banter in between songs. Not only is he still Davy Jones of his youth, but he's a dad. The way he treats every caller with humor and gratitude is so good to see. His talking about the creative process is fabulous. Such generosity.
