It was pretty justified. I wish Steve didnt mention his wife because this is pretty serious. You shouldnt be extremely entitled to buy 2k freaking boots. She should let that sink in.

You're right. She became very serious. I think he thought of putting his wife's name the last minute just to calm the situation down.
He's a smart dude, very socially savvy. I think it would have been more impactful on the woman if he had not done that, but it is a TV show where he has a majority female audience. I think he should have addressed how she _says_ it's a present for all these subsequent holidays, but that doesn't necessarily _mean_ she will act like the boots are the only present she is entitled to for all those holidays.
I honestly felt like he should have called her out some more. How can you spend 2k of someone else’s money and not your own?

Look, shoes and clothes are too different things. I couldn’t care less if my jeans are 10 dollars or my blouse is 20 dollars cause you can find comfortable clothes at a cheap price. But you can never find comfortable shoes at a cheap price. Never! My cheap shoes which might have a cool design that I love could only be there for several months, max a year. And it always feels so uncomfortable walking around in cheap shoes, cause their materials are so bad. So, what I can save by not spending too much on clothes I always spent on shoes. So I can walk comfortable and feel good about myself. Don’t be like 2000 dollars is too much. Buying cheap things is always more expensive 🧐🤷🏻♀️
