I dont know why they made this parts like this. Sure its that simple to cutt the contacts and reconect wires so you dont have to change the whole trottle. Its almost like they make the conectors to break very easy

Do you have to leave the power on while doing this fix? I'm just curious why do all this with it on?
Better to turn off the scooter, if scooters controller throttle wire output more than 5v, it will damage the throttle sensor.
