I No longer have the website or ship a completed Unit. I will construct a frame or spool if anyone is interested. Just send me a comment here. You can purchase a frame or spool here → www.learnhowtokitesurf.com/product/wake-winch-frame/
great job with the video and the parts list. will the speed adjust with throttle input? thanks
Yes, if you add a throttle you can adjust the speed
Is there anyway you could use a dolly as a frame then just modify and reinforce a bit?
I would imagine it would be more difficult going that route.
What was the sprocket ratio? I’m building one of these and I’m wondering what the optimal ratio is
where did you get the spool walls?
I went to a metal shop in my town.
Just curious, what is the point of the torque converter?
Works like a clutch. With more throttle/crankshaft rotation one of the barrels moves out and power gets delivered to the axle/Spool. Works better then a centrifugal clutch, because it delivers the power more predictably and smoother
Do you need a torgue converte?
It's a good idea too. You could also use a clutch instead.
Is this also for paragliding?
I've never tested it for paragliding. I'm sure it would pull you up though.
