BTW, After the update it looks like I can officially use hotspot on my phone so this makes it even better!
I'm honestly addicted to buying handhelds. It all started with Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. Now I have Rog Ally and PS Portal. And Switch 2 is up there as my next purchase.

Pre ordered from PlayStation direct then canceled and pre ordered from Walmart and got it in and it’s amazing played full spiderman 2 story on it almost no lags or glitches at all
@@Boxingian Yeah this thing is pretty amazing and it has exceeded my expectations for sure.
i have the portal and it is awseome. The problem is not the protal. The problem is how your playstion is connected toyour internet and if you have good wifi service. Yes, it does work on a mobile hotspot. I have no issues and confirm that it does work 100%
Yeah it works on mobile hotspot now. I think when I first tried it I might just have had bad connection on my phone. I tried it again and it totally works
What if you get stick drift?

Pretty valid question. I'm sure warranty would cover, but I haven't had any of my controllers get stick drift yet. I feel like the ps5 controllers are better designed than the ps4s
You would have to send the whole unit in for them to repair it which could take days or weeks, maybe longer depending on how busy they are or product availability for replacement. It's not like a Switch where you can just swap out another Joycon while you wait for it to be repaired.
It always works for me, that's the best part of it. My internet is pretty good so perhaps that's why, but I'm totally stoked about this thing.
I got it & sold it. No way a $200 accessory is replacing my $1000 oled. Nothing is really stoking about this thing cellphones and tablets do the same thing for years.
Yeah I think it was just weird when I tried it. We live in Vegas and it’s a pretty new neighborhood in the map so sometimes signals spotty

@@BrianMads I have a LG C2. Beautiful screen and has amazing gaming options. I was very disappointed with the portal. Unplayable with multiplayer games because of latency. Story mode games I prefer the big screen.
@@SektorMK22why did you buy it in first place then? I bought mine coz my tv is shit and wife takes tv over at a night time. Best purchase I’ve made in a decade
How can a win be changing a bunch of settings to get equal performance from devices that require you to change nothing

What funny is, many people who complained about it don't even have PS 5 🤣 .. Those who actually try and buy Portal were likely giving it somewhere around 6-8/10 rating, though I still seen some PS5 fans don't like this product.
Why would someone buy a PS Portal and complain about it if they don't own a PS5? Seems kind of stupid.

It looks like a controller because it's a CONTROLLER! It's NOT a CONSOLE. To compare the Portal with any handheld console is disingenuous.
