The intro was great, but the melodies of the singing and the instrumentals are harmonically dissonant at times, which is distracting. The next level would to make the melodies in the instrumental fully complement the vocals, then it would be perfection.

The first kpop group I stanned was Teen top and they debuted in 2010, in 2011 they did the song “Supa Luv” with electro beats and a futuristic theme. In 2012 Exo hopped into the experimental music and sci-fi concepts with “History”, actually most of their early songs had these beats. Vixx also hopped on the electro beats with their songs “Rock your body” and later on “on and on”. AND Nu’est in their debut too had electro beats for example their song “Action”, their signature phrase was literally “Urban electro band” when they introduced themselves. The early 2010s in kpop definitely had this trend going on and it’s not “only one song” nor is it only F(X).
@Jacob Yes, I stanned mostly boy groups in my early years as a kpop fan also I couldn’t bring groups like Sistar, Girl’s Day or EXID ( the only girl groups I stanned back then) to the table to prove my point since they didn’t do that type of music.
