    Sisters and Brothers, I have been stuck in sin for so long, too long... I don't even remember who I am inside. I miss being able to hear the daily Athan from the mosque right across my childhood home in Saudi, until I moved to the alluring West side of the world at the age of 8. 20 years later and my tongue is so heavy, my mouth can't even make dua. My core values are so diluted. Confusion and uncertainty have become my normal state. I just want to make dua. Please pray for me to make dua. One prayer for me and any others who feel like their heart is dying... I need you Allah.

    What she talked about at starting from min 8:00... That is something that firstly I think, while a sister may be planning on wearing hijab and she's buying hijabs and trying it on at home, and strengthening her connection with Allah, and trying to break the barriers she may have to wear it, other people will come up and say, you need to stop doing this first or doing that, or, you can't be a hijabi and say this or do that, it's a process, I think it starts with hijab, with displaying that promise you are making to Allah that you are going to try and change, the hijab should remind you of it, but people make it difficult on you and that sometimes can be a demotivator in itself...

    Exactly what I needed, mashaAllah. I am getting superbly arrogant... especially when I'm driving, that when anyone doesn't drive right, I get mad, beyond control... that I know that I'm a danger to every other people on the road in that 'hulk' condition. To cut a long story short... it's like Allah wanted to tell/show/wake me up to my ISSUES and has made me realize a whole lot more than what I was looking for. Sister Yasmin explains the awakening period and then that dip so well... it's so true for me. May Allah help me, and help us all, and our souls. Ameen.

      disisdayana, As-Salaamu 'alaykum! Always remember that anger is from Shaytan, the one who just wants to make you feel bad and anxious. So seek protection in Allah from him and defeat him. Also, know that there is much reward in patience though it is bitter but useless anger is just a waste of time. I go through the same problem as well brother so I am talking to you knowing your situation.
      P.S. I think you should write 'mashaAllah' as 'MaSha Allah' because the continuity in 'mashaAllah' between 'Masha' and 'Allah' joins the alif together with Allah's name rather than the correct letter in Arabic, hamza.

    My problem is that when i reach a dip or a low point in iman i tend to crash and burn....hard. Like giving up praying altogether. But when im on a spiritual high everything is great, i feel like i can run through brick walls and do all the extras really easy and i feel really sincere. Im wondering how I should go about minimizing the "downtime". Or perhaps making it such that i don't go into a extreme crash whenever i do have a low point.

    • @jihadrifi5474
      @jihadrifi5474 Před 9 lety +18

      Remember when you hit those low points that this is also a test from Allah, and if you stop praying you are being manipulated by shaiton so create a firm hold onto Allah's rope because if you hit that low point and stop praying for even 1 day, you could die and then you will truly be at the lowest point...
      And also another thing it is very important to make Dua to Allah, so ask allah for firm believe and sincerity and I'll do the same for you in shaa allah :)

    There are many sister's in hijab, who not only make judgements about other sisters who are either not in hijab or are starting on the journey...Strong opinionated sisters actually put you off even wanting to attempt wearing a hijab because of them looking down on you verbally and in body language...This is precisely what stopped me from wearing a hijab for years because the words and judgements made by 'practising sisters' who shamed me in front of people every chance they got, totally put me off...I felt even though I wasn't wearing a hijab I was in a better place spiritually than where they were...Its only when I wanted to wear a hijab myself that I realised how much damage these sisters are doing, thinking they are working in God's service...

    my case is not so much of perfection. im way over perfection. i just want to be sort of acceptable. i keep making the same mistakes over and over again and regretting it over and over again. i dont know how to stop. most of the stuffs that went wrong in my life 90% of it was because of my actions, directly or indirectly. and another thing about me is that knowing that it was bc of me, i cant forgive myself and find it very hard to let go to the point i let it consume my thoughts. at times i think whether im suffering from depression even. but one thing for sure is that i never stop asking Allah for help

      +iffah khairani you will never be perfect. Your life will never be perfect. But remember that it is not just external action but there may be something inside you that needs to be changed in order for you not to commit the same mistakes. So be patient and work hard to make this internal change happen :): salamu alaikum

      The solution is "Theker" keep saying "استغفر الله،سبحان الله "
      Theker Allah forbid the Satan then you'll avoid the mistakes easily. May Allah guide and forgive me,you and all muslims, amine.

    • @zoha1616
      @zoha1616 Před 7 lety +1

      it's okay to make mistakes, that's just being human and that's how Allah created you, He created us with imperfections and He created us weak, but that's okay. As long as your mistakes and your screw ups and your failures bring you closer to Allah, they are not real failures, because the real purpose of your soul is to get closer to Allah and if that's happening you're succeeding. If Allah's prophets can make mistakes, like hazrat Adam and yunus, then you can too so you should stop beating yourself about it because you're a work in progress and Allah does not demand perfection from you, He says he loves those who repent over and over, but that means that you will make mistakes over and over and Allah will keep forgiving you. He loves you and He accepts you, the proof of that is the guilt in your heart, so don't feel bad okay? Have faith in Allah, He's got you. And listen if Allah says that He will forgive you even if your sins fill up the universe then you can forgive yourself because if He will and you won't then it means that you're giving yourself a higher authority than Allah, so forgive yourself and love yourself because He loves you
