This video is the start of a new project for the winter months Ive extended the corner boards giving me an extra 2 ft in each corner to increase my track for the dc line.
This will now have a connection to the coal yard and also will have 2 double track engine sheds to store some of my dc locomotives.
This project is the start of the base structures so then I’ll be able to in the future come back and work on the details

Well you have certainly got some big changes going on with your layout Mark. You have certainly put a lot of thought and time into them. Hopefully as you said in the video, the scenery and setting will flow a lot better as well. All the best. Mark.

That's the plan, I’ve got the same space on the opposite side, I’ve just started doing the flooring so maybe a summer project to expand again, will need a bank loan though on track

Nice update to your layout. Quick question as a guy I know wants to run dc locos whilst looking to get into DCC. Have you kept them separate but on the same layout? By the looks of things you have you DCC power bus and DC power bus and two controllers? Am I right in thinking that is correct? Thanks Tim
Hi Tim sorry for the late reply, yes I have a separate control for each so a bus wire to feed all the dcc, then using the hm6000 I have just wired it to a piece of track I’ll be adding in a small bus wire just to ensure track is powered all the way round
