Webb got into Kenny’s head... jus like every year Kenny comes out blazing hot. And then mid season he drops off and makes excuses about something that’s holding him back. I don’t think he will get it done in SX and MX

Watching snippets of these pro riders through their practices just further tells me that at this level, its almost all mental game. there's still the physicality, but the talent and mechanics of riding are equal. its who has the willingness to press on. love this sport

Haha we do too! But I’ll tell ya first hand the team works relentlessly to get these out.
Cooper is old school and I LOVE IT! Just wish RC would give him props for it. Wierd because Ricky's approach to winning the championship was more similar to Webb than the other contenders. He's my favorite racer ever but, I never thought Ricky would become such a fanboy to certain riders and not be able to hide his bias. He treats Webb like he did Dungey. He gives him is due but nothing more. But it seems a lot of the SX media is that way. Can you imagine the media fanboys reaction were it Roczen or Tomac in everybody's head and winning 4 of the last 5? I mean, THEY say this is "the deepest, most talented field ever". When Tomac wins, he gets lauded as one of the greatest and certainly the fastest. When Roczen wins, he is "finally healthy" and "the class of the field". When Webb wins he is "slow in whoops but.." and "he got a good start". Go back and see how many of his wins came form a holeshot. And the one Saturday was with Tomac and Karen right on his rear wheel. Check who logged the fastest lap. It was Webb. RC is kidding himself and taking us for fools if he thinks Tomac wasn't trying to pass Webb.

Here's my two cents, Cooper does not make excuses, Barcia and Roczen are competing for the best excuse, Tomac and Plessinger are going to be the cushion that Cooper needs. Webb is too good in the whoops which is where all the time is made up in that later part of the race.

It's so nice to finally see barcia ride to his potential as a life time yamaha rider I will say they just can't get their big bike teams together. This year is intense or was tbh I think coop has this in the bag but hey it's SX anything can happen.

While anything can happen, I think Cooper Webb’s mental toughness is on another level. I hate to say it but Kenny looks defeated and dejected, in his last race he kept giving ground. Justin Barcia on the other hand looks like he has some upside, he might finish 2nd or 3rd in this series.
I reckon AP was a bit scared the fireworks might get thee ol' mustache on the daytona podium lol. He looked mighty sketched out.

Not that I’m a pro or a coach but maybe you should keep the dozers off the whoops for the week so they can really replicate late race scenarios or have a section somewhere else that is more gp
I think that Daytona should still be the full 20 laps. The rule should be a 20-lap minimum.

The lack of aggressive of Kennyis killing him. Webb is abusing of him. Ricky Carmichael on an interview, said that Kenny is not that guy who could stops Webb. I might believe it. Kenny has to do something.
Was that Pulp saying Roczen is still riding great, I say this what if Webb was on the coil shock from the get go, not the air shock, he said himself that’s when his confidence returned, Barcia inconsistent still on the air shock, it’s a mental game regardless if the numbers saying lighter faster, if it dosen’t feel right under pressure or importantly does feel right under pressure in battle, that’s where your confidence rides high, no doubt Webb has gotten better as the series has continued, but that change made a difference, at this level little things make huge differences! Don’t fix what ain’t broke, Roczen doesn’t have that swagger in his attitude or interviews he had when he won 3 in a row, Webb’s got the momentum, he’s happy with his bike and he’s just racing, he’s not saying what we want to hear, he’s doing it on the track, it’s what I like about him most, he lets his riding do his talking, not social media, not his hair colors, not outburst when things don’t go his way, he just works harder! That could shock gave him his mojo!
