Literally got a list tattooed on my left forearm in college for this exact reason. I can't lose it, and I can't ignore it.
Edit: Should probably specify that it's a series of ruled lines that I can write on with an ink pen. Not an actual list of that particular days tasks forever enshrined.

William needs to delegate. You need a manager for OpenSauce who isn't you. It's your baby, just like Potato, you'll send Potato to school and trust someone with her, so you need to send OpenSauce to school and trust someone with it. I'll be there, it'll be wonderful. It's something that can be a huge success year after year, but if you're the single record of authority? It is far too much work for one person. Spawn off processes, assign those processes to individual contributors, get weekly updates, keep a list of all the project work that's been delegated and just check in once a week.
BTW, it was run wonderfully. As an outside observer it seemed like it. The food seemed well organized and plenty. The bathrooms were fine. The aisles and displays were well organized. The events seemed to go off fine like the panels and main speakers. The other events like car racing seemed well managed. Vending sales seemed well managed. Seriously, I don't think he could have asked for more, though I'm sure he was stressed the whole time.

This episode has been indeed special and worthy of the intro. Your wifes Sandra and Chelsey are really cool and I would honestly watch a podcast between those two. What's really interesting to me is how the whole dynamic changes whenever there's a woman on your podcast (and this time especially with your spouses). At first you tried to give them room (and that let to interesting talks) and than Will steamrolled everyone as always. I would be interested in hearing more about your pre-youtube lives (even though that's not your content). I bet there are a lot of uncovered gems there. Also Kevin and Sandra seem very sweet together. Totally ship them as a couple.

Man... I relate SO hard with their ADHD stories and forgetting everything. I'm like that every single day and much like Will, I've learned that the only way I'll get things done is if I do them immediately when I see it or remember it

It's all worth it to see potato eat the microphone
My ADHD makes me cycle between 60 different topics per minute so to remember what I was talking about a minute ago takes a lot of effort. I've gotten better by grouping the thoughts with landmarks.
I think fixing all broken things in the house could be a fun video Idea. Like you stage it like you want to build something really cool and then in the means to build something cool you have to fix the little things.

If you are in Starbase again someday, hit me up, I live in Matamoros (the other side of the border) and I can give you a tour for sure. You can even make a video if you have some stupid idea that you can't do legally in the US; i can facilitate everything you need haha (legally of course), you can get away with almost anything on this side of the river (yes, again, even legally). But yeah, i could give you a tour in this side of the border and it will be one of those experiences that sound very stupid but you would love it. And if you ever here for a Starship launch, we have in Matamoros the best place to watch it, you can see the mission control building and the launchpad, it's like a triangle, 5 km each point, and the winds usually goes from south to north so at the moment of the launch all the smoke goes away and you can see the rocket very clearly

I relate so much to the stuff mentioned at the beginning of the podcast. If I don't put something away its just gone from this plane of existence until I find it a month later and I have a million songs that are half done that will never be finished too. Shit sucks. Never been diagnosed with ADHD but I'm pretty confident I have it.
I so sympathize with not being able to retain information about family plans and birthdays and holidays, like the info just doesnt get stored in my mind, and unfortunately if you're my partner, I will rely on you to repeatedly remind me days & weeks & months proir and to never feel like "oh he'll remember" no he wont haha.
I was wondering why he was wearing the baby backpack 😂. I wish my kiddo slept that well with noise.

1:22 absolutely, you have to do it immediately or else it'll disappear or you start thinking which is never good. The only issue is that there is a limited number of 'oh I'll do this immediately' that you get in a day, so you have to plan carefully, at least I do

Facebook/Instagram is a lot like CZcams now. You have to constantly game the algorithm. They want videos and photos CONSTANTLY and things that will get a lot of arguing and interaction.
That's why you see so many videos of people just doing nonsense everywhere, or doing something wrong on purpose to get information.
I only shitpost on facebook and tiktok. It's fun to shitpost on tiktok because no one cares if your editing is good or not

ADHD is a sometimes usefull when you get hyper focused but the burn out sucks
I know the road your talking about in New Zealand, it hit one of those stupid things as well as weka which made me far sadder.
As someone who has raised some chickens for years, they are pretty sturdy if they aren't the selectively bred chickens. Those chickens are just so messed up by the breeding that a lot of them die because they can't walk to water.
The chickens that aren't bred for meat are pretty nimble, and could probably get a couple scratches in before you could kill them. Even though they can't fly (very far), they still have really strong wings that can get some good whacks in while you're trying to grab them.
On the other hand, I know some messed up people who would kill chickens by grabbing their head and spinning them around really hard.
I am exactly the same as will in terms of bad memory and inpulsivity lol. I like to watch the podcast because it reminds me that i am not alone in my struggles and that i fan be successful too :) also allen pan is like my stand-in bc he acts and thinks exactly like I do lol
i swear to god if they dont talk about making sandra move for kevin's antics i will get big mad at big willy, the worst host in the history of lenient safety podcast, i don't know if that means anything. thank you, thank you.

I find this inspirational. I am an old guy, all my life was studying, never had gf. I strive in the future to found a family, if that's a God's will. I don't impose on others anything, just expressing myself in my own way...
After seeing william, potato, caretaker all toghether i found that as some goal concept that i want. i watch those videos on loop, my heart finds some form of spark, gets me keep going. I managed to achieve heighest grade possible at uni ever after being following this videos.
My best friend as a kid had a pet rabbit and her brother threw it in the air while jumping on the bed and it landed on top of the open closet door and broke its neck and they had to put it down. Traumatizing

Came here from podcast to mention how ridiculous it is you think 4 hours of sleep horrible. Just shows how disconnected the group is. 7-9 hours of sleep. Wtf how do you get away with that. I work and have two kids if I get 5-6 hours of sleep it was a blessing. So wild.
