This bag has been in my list for a couple months and after seeing this video I’m sold. I also have a 14 inch MacBook Pro, 11 inch IPad Pro, and AirPods Max that I carry with me everyday and I even have a daily Sony mirrorless and a (now broken) Canon mirrorless that I occasionally take with me. Glad to hear that! I started a new office gig and initially took a standard size backpack, but switched to the TomToc and it's been awesome! Love the size and how it's just grab and go. The ONLY thing I think i would ask for on a new gen of it would be bottle holder sleeve on the outside, but that's just a minor thing. Hope you like your bag!

Yep, I definitely grab and go with this one more than any of my larger bags. Eventually will replace my large gaming laptop with something slimmer, but it’s been great for throwing in my iPad, phone, and everyday kind of stuff. Thanks for the comment!

I wonder how well it'd fit a Steam Deck or Asus ROG Ally. I'm looking for a small bag to fit my iPad, Ally, and my Switch all together.
the ipad compartment area fits my 11 inch ipad pro perfectly. If you have the switch and the Ally in slim cases, you might be able to fit them next to each other in the main open compartment area, but I haven't seen how big the Ally or Steam Deck is yet. The laptop area is pretty fitting for the 13 inch macbook, so I don't think the game systems could go back there.

Hey, I think it’s going to be to tight on the 14 inch. The 14 inch laptop I stuck in there was pretty snug already and I think I read somewhere that this bag “officially” supports the 13 inch. Now, you might be able to put it in the sleeve and stick it in the open area in the middle of the bag, but you lose that space for other stuff you might need to bring.
How thick are the slots for the iPad and MacBook
So the padding is thick, I’d say as thick as any protective case for an iPad/laptop. The slot itself will fit my 14 inch laptop snug without any type of case and fit my iPad Pro with a Logitech combo case
I think instead of a water bottle to put in there, why not an umbrella? 😊

hmm i usually carry two 13.5 inch sizes books along with my mac 14, do you think it would fit?
So that back pocket could carry one, but the pocket in front of it wouldn’t be able to. It’s pretty snug when I have my 14 inch laptop in the back and my 11 inch iPad in the front pocket. You could put the other in the general storage area, but it’d be a bit loose.

I have the 9L and it fits the iPad and 13 inch MacBook fit. I don’t think both would fit in the 7L

It will totally fit the 13 inch MacBook and probably a couple of notebooks depending on how big they are (maybe 3 to 5 subject notebooks).

Sure do, every weekday I’m in the office I pick up a 14 inch windows laptop, my 11 inch iPad Pro, a pixel 6a, a mouse, some phone chargers, and my AirPods. I really like the small form factor

It probably could, but just depends on how big the camera and lens is. You probably wouldn’t be able to fit anything else into the bag though.

Best purchase for my MBP M2 13 inch and Steamdeck with Killswitch travel case. Thank you for this review! Hope you review more bags cause you check what's inside compared to other reviewers they just leave and doesn't cover the space. Only issue is the strap around your shoulder it doesn't really snug onthe bag it's somewhat goes under if you have a laptop charger mouse or something. I also felt the weight on it compared to my Alpaka Bravo Sling Max V2. But I like the look of this one than my Alpaka. My worries is the front pad seems very scratchable. If it's different material it would be perfect one bag for me. But materials on Alpaka is outstanding.

Do you think this bag would fit a tablet with keyboard, some smaller electronics and a small lunch? Without crushing the lunch? like a banana and a cup of noodles or something.
I think it could fit maybe a keyboard like the MX Keys MIni because it's thin, maybe with a lunch about the thickness of a lunchable, but I think a cup of noodles might get crushed, unless you left some extra room near the top of the bag. For sure only keyboards without the num pad would fit. It would probably fit a small mechanical keyboard, but wouldn't leave as much room for lunch.

Decent bag. I hate the strap cheap feeling.
It is on the thinner side, but so far it’s holding up! We’ll see where it’s at in the next year or two. My LowePro is definitely a better feel, but I love the small form factor of the TomToc.

Isn't it a seven liter bag? The Amazon link says seven liter in the description.
Looks like TomToc changed the name of the bag? When I go to their site, they have the same bag but it's now called the Navigator-T24 instead of the Explorer A54. When I google the Explorer version, everything that comes back is the Navigator which is a 5L and 7L. So I'm guessing it is a 7L bag. I'm going to do some more research. Thanks for bringing this up!
Looking at reviews on Amazon, it looks like back in 2021-22, they had a 9L but I'm wondering if it's the rebranded 7L now?
@@ShoresLife A bit confusing. A54 doesn't exist on Tomtoc website. Amazon in Germany have two versions. One is called s and the other one called for 14 inch. On the top description it says the s model is 7 liter but below in the description it says 5 liter. Don't know what to make of it.
