THE DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET
Opening
You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.
O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You.
Our Father
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
The Apostle's Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion - inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.

JMJ+ amen. JESUS, I've learned to find much encouragement in the Psalms. As Our Lady, herself, no doubt turned to every day, I find great solace in Psalm 138, or 139, depending which Bible your are reading... I love that it underscores that no matter where we are in life or geography, GOD, HIMSELF is there too. I could soar to the Heavens as when we contemplate YOUR Ascension, or fall downward into Sheol to converse with the folks that came before YOUR Incarnation. Amazing, LORD JESUS CHRIST, of course, we know this, but somehow, if is comforting to read how those early folks came to believe long before YOU actually walked the Earth. I trust YOU, JESUS. Increase my Faith and forgive my doubts in my ability to keep on moving forward on this my own, walk of a much smaller Via Dolorosa. Thank YOU, JESUS. amen. amen.

JMJ+ amen. Dear LORD JESUS CHRIST, I thought about this again, and I was wrong. Not the first time, is it? I remember YOU asking not so much to be relieved of what YOU knew what was coming, but simply asking if YOUR FATHER still thought of it as necessary to overcome death and save the souls of as many would come to YOU in true contrition and repentance. I can't imagine that YOU really thought the outcome was going to different, but that was the time to ask if it was still the Will of YOUR FATHER. LORD, I'm sorry. I just hate it so much what we did to YOU then and continue to do to this day. Please JESUS, don't regret it. As much as I hate it, I know I have hurt YOU, too. My LORD, and my GOD, have mercy on us even though we still don't deserve anything but death for our sins against YOU, GOD ALMIGHTY, the HOLY GHOST, Mary, the Immaculata, the holy Angels and Saints. amen. amen.

JMJ+ amen. LORD JESUS CHRIST, I'm sorry for this interpretation of how YOU thought to reject YOUR FATHER'S plan for the salvation of mankind. This is not what I was taught, nor is it what is told by the Apostles in the Catechism of Trent and the Douay Rheims Bible. YOUR mind was firmly set on this course before YOUR Incarnation. YOU repeatedly told the disciples and other students and general followers in parables what was going to happen, and why. So, please forgive some of the modernization of Holy Scripture even though we were instructed not to add or subtract any WORDS from the Gospel. Thank YOU, LORD JESUS CHRIST, for caring so much never to abandon us, as that Psalm makes very clear. amen. amen.
