He really just talked about toy store and ATM pin codes with a world top economist for 6 straight minutes. Hilarious.
+Khishigkhan / And gaylords with weird hair.
His take home from this 121 was the list of 4 digit pin codes he could use for his atm card lmao
My question is how do they get this people to come to a “show” like this?
Joel Clemente money
It is very important what kinda toy that a highly educated man want to sell!
$52.64 Bill
Alan Fox lmao that shit was so funny. Then he said he would pay with a $52.65 bill.
PermanentHigh that's definitely the Jew in him talking :P
It’s just a dream at the moment.
A cheque book can do that
Can you imagine buying a house? Once everything was said and done with all the applicable taxes, transfer fees, closing costs, etc... the cost comes out to something like $400,501.37 , and he be just like "one sec' aht I knows me's got dat bill. It be somewhere on me round 'ere. $400,501.34 ... 35... 51... 57... Where'd I put it?"

I really admire that advisor guy. He was so calm and willing to explain everything no matter how ridiculous it gets.
Part of the joke is that elites truly do believe we ordinary people are this dense. That's why Cohen is able to con so many into these interviews without them realizing it's pretend.
Respeck (in Ali G voice). 💯😂😂🤣
@@justatiger6268Not always. There are dense people ordinary or not. He was nice enough to sit through the interview. I know a lot of ordinary people who treat him like a bag of crap and not at least humour the Ali G ideas.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you had never heard this dude's name before seeing this and youre calling him an elite because he's talking about economics on TV.

Yah, but it is semi- Monty Python at times but on the fly. You have to give them some credence for that.
@@wighto73 Exactly, I definitely feel the Monty Python like feel, but Ali G is a comedy that is so spontaneous and genuine. I'm very impressed coming from a more modern age comedy where talk shows are mostly scripted
If he's an economist for presidents then he's used to talking to fools.

He made a crack about Democrats therefore he MUST be a Trump Supporter. Great logic there.
Jai Khemani Right, libertarians win the presidency ALL THE TIME. To single out Democrats as foolish when that moronic pathological liar elected by REPUBLICANS is in the White House is no better.

The funny ones are the ones that get mad lol the veterinarian was the funniest. Rubbish zoos
@@ericg4915 he wasn't even really mad, he was just so so disappointed. That was a great one.
Ali G's portrayal of the simple mind is sublime. The way he gets stuck every step of the way of the guest trying to set up a hypothetical is just perfect. Ali G is a goldmine and this interview is one of the best!
But he does it just enough where the conversation keeps going lol
The earnestness of his confusion is hilarious
@@hamansing787 That's the beauty of it, he's a genius at it.
"So, economics is well important innit?"
I love how he always starts his questioning with that sentence.
I like how he uses (seemingly) random numbers when talking about the specific bills he'd use, and then he couldn't produce a random number when it came to the PIN.
He doesn't need a random number for a PIN. Ali is looking for the very best PIN. The correct answer is that it's the last 4 digits of your phone number backwards.
@@philojudaeusofalexandria9556 that's a bad one, it should be a number that's absolutely not related to any aspect of your life

'He's got the same 'aircut as me Nan' 😂
that's the line that made me lose it ! lol
Truth though 🤣
I've noticed something watching these interviews, what I see as the good, the bad, and the clever. The interviewees I respect are the ones who try to lead Ali g to see for himself the logic flaws in his (deliberately misled) arguments. These people go WITH the line of logic. Dr schultze here patiently leads Ali to think through his own suggestions. The alternative, are the people who RESIST his logic or, even worse, resist him as a person. For example, Virginia wood uses the 'offended' card. Andy runey refuses him based on poor English. Tony benn is the best interviewee I've seen because he not only flaws Ali's logic but LEVERAGES it to empower the image of the english people. And all with dignity and good humour. That's RESPECK.
tobo86 You'd have to be a moron not to see it's a joke after Cohen uttered his first two sentences. And you'd than have to be a massive old hag to get mad about being pranked.
I think it's often just a culture clash. To Americans, this alien-like man could well be a weird 'British' thing, and even if you suspect it as a hoax, you still take a reputation-damaging risk in calling shenanigans. It's more the wind-up that interests me, because that is precisely cohen's trap - to reveal your prejudices.
Don't forget how Buzz Aldrin uses Ali G's ignorance to teach.
Yes you nailed it perfectly. There’s definitely 3 levels to dealing with Ali, 1; be offended and triggered by him which is what we all really want, 2; be confused and try to reason with him or even potentially sniff him out which is less entertaining; or finally, 3; use his rhetoric to ram down his throat the concept that it is wastes like him that are bringing down the country which only Tony Benn has ever actually succeeded in doing. Admittedly Sachs is not actually a waste at all and hoodwinked Tony as good as he ever hoodwinked anyone, but the passion for wiping out scumbags knows no bounds to some people; Bennett was not going to take any chances..
wtf did just read
This aged well. Schultze is so patient and educational. Hope his family and friends appreciate this now.
Lolz yes, I couldn't.....
Is still alive the guy?
i lost it when he started to dictate him pin numbers
I changed my PIN to 3215 on the advice of Dr Schultz!
"Don't be high, that's a real rule. Don't be high when you're buyin' and sellin' stock."

😂
Nobody can do what Sacha does..seriously this guy is on another level.
1 year later lol. But AGREED💯💯💯💯💯👍👌
Philomena Cunk (Diane Morgan) does something very similar. She's like a normally dressed Ali G.
What about Eric Andre?
I love how Schultz went into another stock scenario of someone making toys, but this time it being his friend, and Ali G full of curiosity bit into believing again. That was too perfect. Couldn't have written it better.

Not getting examples or hypothetical situations at all and taking them all literally is such a brilliant comedy angle. My favorite of his bits.

One of the few interviewees who manages to make it through without losing patience and actually gave Ali G good advice. Pretty commendable, especially since he ain’t even a junglist.
A 5.99 dollar bill actually makes a lot of sense.
How?
+Hobbes Tiger It doesn't. Scrapping the penny makes cents, which is why some countries have already done it. It costs more to produce them than they're worth.
+Harrison Pike 6$ things never cost 6$. They always cost 5.99$.
+D Martin How many cents do you get from scrapping a penny?
+Hobbes Tiger so? They make it $5.99 because it makes the customer think the product is cheaper. If a $5.99 bill was made producers would end up making the product cost $5.98 to circumvent
Only Ali G can waste time with the most powerful people in the world #RESTECP if you know what i mean

When he says he was high on skunk from the subject of trading stocks it’s like a great jazz musician entering magical improvising moment. You know it’s part written, part coming from the right time and right elements given. This is why Sacha is on another level compares to them stand up comedians who use the same jokes over and over again even with the same deliverances.
Sacha ur a genius my favourite comedian. ✌✌✌

Comic genius. Plain and simple. "...who was a man." LOL.
I hope he brings Ali G back every now and again. A world this shitty needs this every now and again. Easily his best character. Good to have breaks from it, but I hope he never stops doing it.

He was probably the coolest guy of all the Ali G interviews. Wasn't rude at all just really trying to help
I dont kow if that old man is still around but he looked very patient and smart.
Ali G clips are like pringles, you cant just enjoy one and carry on with your day
Wow this guy has pretty good patience, I mean I know he's in on it but he plays the part really well. The best ali g moments are when his guests know how to talk to him the right way.
The economist is not in on it. I don't think you understand, this is not like your typical 'fake'/scripted american candid camera or reality show. Sachas tv network sets up the interviews claiming it as an interview that will be broadcast as an educational video to lower-income british youth. The setup starts from Sashas network tricking these celebrities, from Ron Paul to Buzz Aldrin.
Not in on it. Be may have started to think something was weird but it's definitely not scripted
Keep in mind that it‘s heavily cut. The interview probably dragged on for half an hour or more. With mostly boring or simple questions, lulling the interviewee into a false sense of seriousness. And we only get a cut of the most ridiculous moments, which are probably just few in-between.
