Personally I just want the 360 logo back- it was soo cool when the lights spun on startup and lit up based on how many controllers you had.
If I pay attention to the color of the power on button...I've wasted money on a decent TV and console. 😂😂
Just use alcohol marker on top of the logo don't open your xbox just for that if you don't wanna break anything 😉 trust me it works same you can use any colour marker that's permanent or alcohol based
Then you turn the Xbox on and the marker wipes away.

From what i know it's literally impossible to do with software because of the led being just a white Diode they would have to do a hardware revision with a RGB Diode before they could do anything with software.

I have a Xbox one s and I just used a super strong red paint marker and painted the light behind the logo and it looks insanely good
Had my elite 2 controller since launch when it was a steep $200 and it took about 3-4 years for Microsoft to finally add that feature to the controller. I almost did this light mod to the controller.

If you are going to do this. Don't use a carrier bag. Use coloured cellophane. Cellophane is heat resistant to 177°C and has better translucency.
It would never be possible to change the LED colours on the XBOX consoles via software, because the LEDs inside of them are only able to glow up white.
That’s what we all thought about the elite series 2 controller. Turned out it was RGB the whole time.

I feel like since you have to buy a expensive controller for light coloring I think they are going to make the Xbox be the same just to get a color out of it because being able to change the color on your Xbox and not your normal controller will probably upset people, they would have added colors on normal controllers if that was the case

I really wish they would add an option to dim or turn off the controller light, it kinda gets annoying when playing in the dark

You can buy Camera Flash Filters that are designed to cope with heat. I bought a pack with loads of different colours for less than £4.

Try to take the series 2 controller home button and put it on the Xbox and see if it changes colors

Yeah imagine a normal diode that emulates only cold-white color, suddenly becomes an rgb diode with a software update.
Colour changing LEDs are already a thing so I hope that Microsoft will add the feature in the future
the answer is no because the xbox use a white led that is different from a rgb led that can make all the cromatic color
in order to change. The colors on the xbox joystick need an elite version of the joystick.
