She's in her early thirties looking back on her life, with people saying she was wild and crazy (and fun). She says yeah, I used to be young. But now she has no regrets about things she can't erase. She's a different person, but became what she is now through those experiences.
I love watching your reactions. I love this song! It's very nostalgic. As I've gotten older I feel EVERY word she sang. life at 43 compared to life at 23 is very different. To all the younger people out there... be wild enough to enjoy life to the fullest, be responsible enough to not end up in jail or worst.
Think she’s also saying she was judged for being crazy wild ( we all are but aren’t under the spotlight) and that she was just young , going thru the motions of life and now she’s matured had fun doesn’t regret a moment of it. Miley is the best of her generation of singers what a powerhouse
