-never buy any bottled drink by itself, it’s wicked expensive unless you’re replacing your fountain drink with it
-the icees suck unless you let them sit for a couple minutes (for some reason) then they’re amazing
-the ch’king really was hand breaded by us in the back. the royal sandwiches they have now are not

I am so thankful we got rid of the hand breading station. We sell easily twice as much royal crispy chicken now and back then it just wasn't possible to keep enough chicken up and the times good. For what it's worth the taste is nearly identical.

Back in the late 90s I worked at Burger King and was pretty good on the whopper board. So much so that it was basically the only station I worked because I was so good and could make 5 whoppers at a time without missing a beat. Ahhh to be young again.......
Back then you had to microwave the bottom while preparing the top if I'm not mistaken.
I used to make 20 whoppers a second. Was very easy, you had to use your feet as well as hands and sometimes even the third leg. I combined all the limbs and got the job done. I was called Emperor Whopper out of respect for my skills

The meat and buns were cooked and toasted on the same broiler. The meat and bun were put together in a steam well back then. A good crew wouldn't have them in the steam wells long, maybe 10 minutes.
