It's been a while since I made something! With the update to Project Equinox, there are some new moves for Riku that I wanted to showcase. Too bad there isn't an actual DDD Riku mod but this recolor is the best we got for now. There haven't been that many mods on KH3 lately and I've been having homework so I'm sorry for not uploading. With a staggering 17 minutes, I hope the cutscenes don't hurt the battle that much. I also hope my gameplay is still stylish and not repetitive since Young Xehanort himself is way too weak. I had to use a mod that gives him more health so I can showcase the different abilities for Riku. At the time of writing this, there was a new update to Project Equinox that allows me to use the improved movement mod along with it. Sadly this gameplay doesn't use those features since I did the gameplay before the update came out.

I'm sorry, but this is what Dream Drop Distance should have been. It should have been on the PS3 or PS4 with good graphics and dope gameplay like I just watched just now.
I say that to BBS, should have been on console hardware like PS3, the PSP didn't do it justice when you cycle through KH1, KH2 then BBS is a big downgrade in the console's scale, and those damn capes that was just a tease for Terra's ending.

DDD's YX is the most difficult story fight and even tougher than Data YX in KH3 and i respect DDD for that

Not gonna lie, I never had a problem with DDD YX, even on Critical, though I (was) playing on a 3DS XL, not an original 3DS.

This is EXACTLY what KH3 Riku should've been!! It makes no sense that he can't use flowmotion or form changes and has to get carried by sora in kh3 when he didn't lose his power like Sora did! The double form with the dream Keyblades JUST PERFECT!! Way To The Dawn that didn't just break for some dimple car keys too!

There’s something about Riku doing a risk dodge that just looks so stylish… as opposed to his sluggish gameplay in 3. I’d play the shit out of this mod if I was able.
Question, are you playing with low damage Keyblades or does the mod affect revenge values of certain bosses? I noticed you’re doing at least 2 sequences of full combos, almost 3 before the boss decided to retaliate. Which is fine because your skills more than make up for it, it makes the gameplay much more appealing to watch
Sorry I took so long to respond! Thanks for your comments on the other videos I had! Yeah I had to use the robust data battles mod to increase yx's health since he's way too weak normally. A side effect of this mod is that the revenge value is affected as seen in the video. It's the only mod I could find that changes health. At least my gameplay makes up for it!

That's why I kinda miss Vanitas' secret boss fight in BBS. It was one bar, but your attacks did way less damage. Made me realize it's all relative - whether there's 1 or 100, the devs can decide how much damage is done. That many bars is really just a pleasing number to blow through.

I know I'm way late for this, but I'm posting my own KH3 rewrite on recent KH videos, I've titled this rewrite Kingdom Hearts 3 Keyblade War Edition. The game was great, but I believe that the game could've been better and improved. This rewrite is meant to make it as long or longer then Kingdom Hearts 2 and puts many earlier developments in the main story to rest, but also creates new ones for the next saga. This rewrite also combines scenes from Re:Mind so just pretend that there is no DLC expansion, as those should have been in the vanilla game. This rewrite is not meant to disrespect the original writers, this is just meant for fun. This story will be split into three stories, Sora, Riku, and Kairi's story, it runs on a certain order so changing the story order is not optional. I'm not a CZcamsr, so posting in the comment section is the best I can do to get my rewrite out there. Please let me know what you thought of this rewrite in the reply section when you get the chance, what you like, what you didn't like. This project is also meant to be a test on my writing skills since I'm studying to be a professional writer. I hope you enjoy the rewrite. It still baffle me why they pushed Kingdom hearts to handheld consoles. My sole reason buying a PS3 back was to play a KH game that will be released in console! And the fuck they release it to multiple handheld shit! That hindered and gave it performance issues wth!! Square!!!

Beating this cheap bastard with all the new stuff in 3 already felt incredibly satisfying as Sora but allowing for a chance to have Riku do the same plus not being nerfed in his young body is also pretty cool.

I can't help but question the addition of cutscenes when out of seventeen minutes only four have to do with the actual modded gameplay.
Sorry, I just couldn’t deny a friend’s request to include the cutscenes. They wanted it so they can see the lore again. It’s been 9 years since I played DDD and like 8 years for them so I just kept the scenes in for them.
@@quoy4 Fair enough, but I'd suggest recommending they just look the cutscenes on an existing video next time, at least until you have someone who'd go so far as to make an SFM remake of them using the KH3 graphics and models.
Idk it's easy to skip the cutscenes, and they add a nice context for the mod.
They at least label them by section, so you can instantly get to the section with gameplay
