I was going to replace my grill with an assembled one, but then I saw your video and I was hooked. (I loved the way you went about this - from unpacking, to lining up your parts on the table, to explain each step you took, to be so organized - it was a joy watching you.) And so, by following every step you took, (and keeping the instructions nearby, just in case) I put my grill together without any problem. I loved it. By the way, I'm a nearly 80 year old female...... Thank you and have a great life.
I dig assembling furniture but this seemed daunting until I watched 4 minutes of Ben the Builder. The clarity and tips up front are incredibly helpful. Thank you kindly.
Dear Ben... could you re-do Dyna0=-Glo's instruction manual?? Your way is great and easy. Their way is impossible as once you have all the legs/frame together you CANNOT "drop" the hood and grill body assembly onto the legs/base.
Their way is totally counter-intuitive, it's ridiculous. I wish I could redo all the manuals... it's almost like Dyna-Glo designers are playing a cruel joke on us. I'll also be recording a new version of this one. Same steps, but a little faster.
Is there any way to get the hood and grill on the legs once your follow the manual? I didn't find your great video until i was unable to put the hood/grill on and everything is together except the top!
I would just flip the top part upside down like I have in the video and try to fit the bottom to the top, rather than trying to fit the top onto the bottom. You can also try just loosening up some of the screws of the bottom frame to allow some wiggle room, then tighten them back up once it's together.
I bought mine assembled from HD. There is a silver chain with a loop at each end hanging from the side of the grill. The instruction manual seems to indicate that the chain is somehow used to extinguish the flame but I can't for the life of me figure out how to use it. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. (For reference it's page 19 of the manual.)
Pls come assemble mine in Atlanta!!! Home Depot gave me a built one that had been sitting outside and it was rusty and scratched. I went to exchange it but they told me that they could only give me one i the box and I'd have to put it together myself.... I've unboxed everything and I'm sitting here feeling overwhelmed!!! :-(
It's easy. Just go step by step according to my video. Just make sure you're using the right size screwdriver so you don't strip anything out. I'm sorry for your experience at that Home Depot. They bulk up in the beginning of spring and sometimes the grills will sit there for months before they find a home.
Your way is much easy than their manual but you camera way too far I can't see the parts . Sir I don't even know which are the front legs and which are the back legs 😢it left it on table on back of the house for almost one month, evry time I go look at it I get scried and walk awy 🤔
you know it would have been nice to actually see the finished product up close for assembly on my own! :( I also would have liked it if he went over the exact way to install the propane tank, how it hooks up exactly! Guess he was just a bit too busy and not really feeling any empathy for the customer or for all customers!

I just bought this grill & I'm sure I can't put it together in 15min no matter how many times I watch your video but I'm so glad you made the video

I bought this grill at Home Depot and thank you for helping with this tutorial video!
Thank you so much! This is so much easier than what's in the manual.
Thanks so much for this. Ive been assembling them as per the manuel, and always have a tough time aligning the grill with the legs. Youre the best.
Life saver. Alls I’m saying. I was cursing a storm before this video.
Same! The original instructions were awful.
I can’t believe the instructions compared to this. Thanks!
thank you Ben - so helpful!
Thanks man you saved me like 2 hours. The manual sucks.
Thank you for posting this!
Thanks brother for the tutorial!
Thanks Dude. You are Awesome!
Just bought this. The blocker bar was missing but that isn't the worst thing ever. This was very helpful.. The paper instructions were not great.
NICE JOB BEN
Thanks Ben
Hell yeah brother
Which way does the heat shield go? Should the indented side be facing the floor or towards the body of yye grill?
Fantastic! Thanks a bunch.
Thanks Grill Doctor!
Lol... "grill doctor"... I like that!

@@BenTheBuilder Great advice. Great video. Thank you.
What are the dimensions of the box?

That's actually a match holder for manually lighting a burner, as far as I know.

That was so much easier than doing it by the manual.
Like I did 🙄
The only problem with this video is it doesn't say how the tented pieces go on the grill.

Use the manual as a guide and make every step look like how it does in the pictures/diagrams.

He can't hook up the tank in the store. You're not allowed to bring an empty tank let alone full ones in the store.
