- All the goals scored by Liverpool FC, winner of the 1983/84 European Cup. Liverpool won the trophy overcoming Odense, Athletic Bilbao, Benfica, Dinamo Bucharest and Roma. That team was coached by Joe Fagan. Ian Rush was the team topscorer, with 5 goals.

Ian Rush's first goal away to Dinamo Bucharest is almost a carbon copy of Kenny Dalglish's winning goal for Liverpool against Bruges in the 1978 European Cup Final
What incredible team! Many great players :Dalglish, Rush, Sounees, Lee, Neal, Whelan.,....and Robinson (RIP true Red)! At this time (mid 70's mid 80's) Liverpool was the best team in the world. Thanks for this video (from Italy)
I wonder if there had ever been a place for Gerrard back then? The best player Liverpool ever had. It was good to see almost only British players playing. I think only Heighway (Ireland) andd Grobbelaar (S.A.). were the exceptions.
Those performances away to Bilbao and benfica were 2 of my favourite Liverpool away day performances and showed perfectly what this team was all about. You wanna try and fight and bully us? Good luck with souness and Whelan and Hansen to name just 3 of the real men in that team. Oh now you want to out football us??? Never happening with the king and Craig Johnson and the cherry on top of this Liverpool cake, Ian rush the serial killer goalscorer. Great time to be a kopite and I always returned from European away trips with some nice new trainers and clothing. Got some lovely Adidas Kegler super and 3 fila tracksuit tops all free of charge in Denmark that season. Getting destroyed on and off the pitch. JFT97
The 83-84 season was basically the 1st treble in LFC history. They won European cup(UCL), League cup & 1st division league title(EPL's predecessor). The forgotten treble. Overlooked achievement, team was so slept on & under appreciated. History been overshadowed by the 2001 treble that just won FA Cup, League cup & Uefa cup trophy in the season. No disrespect though, but still..

I was at the away game in Portugal....i distinctly remember all the Benfica supporters telling us how they where going to destroy us.......imagine their shock as we smashed them out of the park.

Io guardo soprattutto al passato, e questo mi penalizza nelle views. Non credo di attirare molti Under 20, ad esempio.

The amount of games that are played in an fa cup tie 3rd round to final WELL the European cup ties back then was exactly the same lol u play 6 rounds and ur in final it wasn't so hard back then
Back then only champions of national leagues could partecipate ... so it was hard to qualify and then to win the cup ... today the difference is that the european greats are always qualified, more similar to the NBA, very high level, but ruining someway the national leagues...
