first of all I'm pretty sure that downpipe has baffles in it so get a lex tek one change the exhaust to the short version for less weight change air filter to race (more air hotter it burns) the tube on the filter is restricting air flow, change to 150cc and go up 1 on the jets (if your careful you can even skim the piston slightly), change front and rear sprockets, loose the center stand and the rear foot pegs........ loose weight and of course put racing stipes on it it will defiantly go faster.
biggest change is the front sprocket i feel like 17t is a little high on mine atm so im going 16t top speed isnt everything its about usable power thats where the fun of riding is. if u wanna go faster get a bigger bike simple. if you want to tune and learn with a small bike set it up nice to pull at 20 - 50 then hit the twisty roads. your mates will have 75 or 80 on there clocks but wont be able to catch you fact..
Your air filter needs a bit of pipe between the filter and carb about 100mm long to create suction between carb and filter , this will help , check your plug to see if you need to re jet , you can remove the head and polish the exhaust port , keep the intake lumpy , also check the weld on the inside of the exhaust header pipe you want it to be a smooth flow
These modern 125cc bikes do my head in with all the restrictions they build into them.
Back in the 80's i had a Suzuki GP 100 (all stock with no no mod's at all) This is the time when bike's had power bands.
It would beat most car's from a standing strart upto 50mph and would do 75mph with no problem & there was no way any car could keep up with it on country roads.
I also had a Honda CB 125 twin, again all stock no mods which would do 85mph with a pillion passenger.
We all complained back then how we wished that our bikes were faster, i guess nothing has changed there then ; )
my xtrs 16 tooth front 37 rear filter 105 main jet good set of wheel bearings had 86mph out of mine
I would change the spark plug cap to a NGK mate.
Also put on a 17 tooth front sprocket
I need your help, I’ve got the same venom as you but can’t get past 60, I’ve got an exhaust, air filter, 16 tooth front sprocket and 110 jet. I think the jet is too high but I don’t see that changing my it would change it that much
Try playing with the air mixture screw. Depends what filter you have aswel
just seen this, been trying to get my Vixen up to 65, just had chat with lexmoto on farcebook, they say that they are using an OHV engine that restricts the revs, now we know that is utter bull. but the lexmoto exhaust has restrictions built in, on the vixen there is the 4 tube baffle inside, the choke point at the top of the exhaust and also the dreaded CDI unit, but thats just the start. they messed with the gearing in the engine, if you can find a gearbox from the original engine eg sizi honda etc and get that fitted it should transform nicely
be careful to choose a 4 strock not a 2 strock, unless you change the engine completely
Been through loads of chinese bike Daelim are good theres nothing you can do change sprocket for higher speed but be less acceleration, keep stock and keep clean
hmm just picked up my 2016 venom last night has only 1030 miles on the clock.mine hits the limit in 5th at around 70mph on the flat and im 6 foot and 16 1/2 stone.
went down a road with a slight decline and the bike was trying to go above 70mph but the ignition was holding it back.
im a bike and car mechanic and i know that every bike or car behaves differently to the next on the production line,thankfully i appear to have a fast one.
im away to tune mine as far as i it will go just to see what it will do.
whats the benefit of the honda cg125 carb? cant see what difference that will make if its the same bore etc etc.
What did u use to pin off the carb after removing the egr??
Just got a 20 plate fuel injected venom, does 70 no issues
Change the coil pack to a sports one then change your cdi unit to an unlocked one then it will be unrestricted

nice looking bike the viper looks the same ,
put a 150 barrel and piston on it and put old carb back on run standard idle jet and 105 main foam filter make sure float height is correct . get rid of metal spark cap make sure valve clearance is perfect run super unleaded block egr valve and standard gearing also set carb needle to middle setting and run it in for 300 miles oil change jobs a gooden.

I have a lm venom SE. 105 jet and simmi exhaust.everything else stock. I get 75 without any issues. Got 70 stock
mine does 65 max and its all totally stock getting any more out of it will ultimately damage the engine its a naked bike with a very upright seating position making you act a sail against the wind for the price of the bike you caint expect top top end like the leader 125s cbr and yzf
james pullen i kow what you are saying but after having a chat with a few modified venom owners my bike is running not as fast as it should after all the mods, after all the mods the bike should be doing 70+
dont forget the 10 mph bragging rule you get from people if they say it does 80 it does 70 and so on and so on lol
james pullen lol i must agree but like u said urs run 65 stock mi e has issues getting to 60 after all the mods
i have to have all the perfect conditions to hit 65 though nice day no head wind and a slight down hill lol

I have a lexmoto venom 2017 non EFI and I get about 80 on a down hill but it hits the limiter I have stock everything and I was just messing around with the carb and now it all of a sudden has flames comeing out the the back😂 I’m not expert I’ve done car mechanics in college for a year but never done carbs id say just pay around with it oh also I played around with the idling timing and it feels like it made a difference I’m not too sure tho
I geared my venom for acceleration and did sort of the same mods to my one and got 80 ish out of it

Hey I've been asking all over and nobody seems to know my bike is slow as a snail. It's a 65 plate lexmoto venom and top speed on it is 50mph if I'm lucky. Any idea or tips
whats your weight? theres a reason why some people go faster on a 125, its because they are like 16 and not fully developed.

How did you remove the airbox I can't seem to get this thing out!
Firstly remove that k&n and put a good foam filter on, secondly put a 104 main jet in and a 38 pilot thirdly check compression and valve clearances.
Two Wheel Piranha 60 is the best you will get then
Smaller back sprocket bigger front and a 110 jet and a better down pipe would help
What's the problem with the speed? What is it's max speed?
Yo what your number need a chat about this g. The egr i havent block. But the tube from that, that goes in air box i just left in old air box on bike is that cool or do i need to but something else on it
How did you get the tail tidy did you make it yourself if so how
Also I have the same mods as you and can sit at 70 comfortably
