What is a ganglion cyst in the knee?

They are usually benign fluid accumulation of fluid that can Occur after an injury or repetitive trauma to a joint. We can remove these cyst once they start to cause pain or limitation to the patients.
We must be careful on removing these #ganglion cyst and not cause damage to the surrounding tissue.

I have the same condition, but my orthopaedic not giving an option for aspiration but suggesting arthroscopy removal. I went to 3-4 docs for reference and all suggesting the same. 😢

Me too, they will not aspirated it, and I am in pain. It feels like my nerves are being restricted down my leg.

@@AkanshaSingaram I did I have no pain in my knee. I can do everything but the cyst is so big it makes my leg numb and they will not aspirate it. He wanted to do surgery.
