What would cause knee cap pain if you haven't hit it? Whatever is going on it feels weird and loose and moves a bit more than the other knee. When I bend it, it feels like its burning or something is being stretched too much, and this is from a simple movement like getting out of a car or getting out of bed or getting up out of a chair sometimes.

I have weird joint aches and pains on top of my spondy back pain and problems. I think its low T to be honest but the threshold to be considered for low T in ontario has been lowerd from 300 to 200 in the last few years so being at 299 they won't prescribe me any T gel. But I think that is what it is.
If Im not mistaken the threshold in the u.s is still 300 for low T. It causes joint pains, osteo arthristis, brain fog/memory issues and muscle pain in the sense that they always seem sore like they never heal after a workout even though you never worked out.

I got this suddenly today while warming up for a deadlift. Recently started deadlifting again from a long break, so my legs aren't used to it quite yet. Was only doing 60kg, but suddenly I started getting pain above the patella when putting weight on the knee joint. Stopped after like 4 reps. Took a pause and started doing other bodyweight exercises that put weight on the knee joint, and the pain was there from the first rep (stopped immediately when the pain presented itself). Only pain when putting pressure on it, normal ROM, bicycling is currently fine at a low/medium pace...
Don't take any painkillers/nsaids for this and continue exercising as normal, that'll only lead to worsening of the condition! Exercise around the injury and let the tissue rest/rehabilitate

I have started on a non-surgical rehab program with some muscle strengthening exercises and started experiencing the same pain that your patient described in this video. I'm 62 and still play sport and couple of weeks ago dived to stop a ball. A day or so later I went to do some exercise with an Ab roller and found I couldn't kneel because of there was a point on my knee cap that was real painful. No other pain doing anything else. A couple of days later same thing. This time I had a feel around with my fingers poking trying to isolate where the pain was coming from and it seems to be a very small spot within the skin over the top of the knee. No swelling, no discolouration - just real soreness/pain within the layers of the skin over the knee cap. Any idea what that might be?

@@condorcoaching8267 One of the blokes I play with is a doctor and I spoke to him about it, I'd already looked around for other explanations and found 'Bursitis' pretty much fitted the description. I described it to him and he pretty much confirmed it was almost certainly a Bursitis. He said the main thing to do is rest it, ice it and don't allow it to be impacted in anyway. I didn't get to the point where I opted to ice it, because without any impact or poking it, it was fine. So, all I've done is eased back with the exercise a little and avoided kneeling on it and its fine now. I did continue to play cricket during this period but had no reason to dive or impact it thankfully. He did mention that sometimes they can hang around for quite some time. I think mine was problematic for about 2 months.
