How does window tinting compare to blackout curtains ? Is one more effective than another ?

If you add the tinting and the blackout curtains it'll make it a lot cooler.

it will block heat from the sun rays going in but it will make your window glass sot hot that it will radiate heat into you house. why nobody tells you about this?. I just learned a lesson that this is counter productive

That’s how you know the film is working. You see, the window will feel hotter because the sun is actively being reflected off the window, instead of going through it. No window film can block 100% of heat transfer, but most reflective ones do up to 70+. That’s why it’s best to combine window treatments like film and shades.
