My name's La Guardia Cross. I make music, art, film, and I co-created 2 baby girls with my wife, Leah.
New Father Chronicles began in November of 2014 when my daughter Amalah was 1-week-old. I had no idea what I was doing, so I decided to chronicle my journey on CZcams and make fun of myself along the way. Our 2nd daughter, Nayely, was born in April of 2017.
My channel is filled with the silly adventures I have with my girls, infant and toddler interviews, my interpretations of their babble, silly skits, and the things I've learned or unlearned as a parent. Sometimes Leah and I mix it up a bit and share some pretty personal moments as well. Why? Well, we're far from perfect and we've learned a lot from our mistakes. - Komedie

I stand on my woman made island and watch your videos while my 8.5 month old tries to break down the baby gate. For 3-4 minutes I take a vacay every wednesday. Lol. THANK YOU!!

Living Good haha I wish you the best. My son won. I totally gave up after starting to fall asleep at work. This little guy was only 8 months old when he figured out how to escape not only his bed but also figured out how to get down the stairs AND HE COULD NOT WALK!!! 😑 I would wake up suddenly between 2-4am to find out he got out and was downstairs terrorising my sisters bedroom (her stuffed animals) and playing with her dog.

GlamFam... It don't change just because they get older either, I got a 16 year old and a 10 year old boy...yes y'all, 2 boys, pray for me... They bug the hell outta me more now that they are older than when they were toddlers... The difference is the tricks used to quite them up as toddlers or babies do not work now... Like the Stewy character off family Guy, mom, mama, mama, mommy, mommy, etc...lol...

Along with no concept of time, they also don’t understand conditional statements like maybe and might. There’s no “we MIGHT go to McDonalds”. No, they will harass you until that soft maybe turns into a strong yes. Come to think of it, kids are like pushy salespeople 😂😂😭😭

Parent for almost 16 years so I consider myself pretty skilled. Still learned something! --> The idea of surprising your kid instead of telling them your special plans, genius!!!! They will worry you to no end. Always open to learning new skills. Nice job sir!
OMG!!! BEST. INTRO. EVER!!! 😂😂😂 I watched it several times and I kept laughing. Laguardia using is very serious tone when he says he is an expert in parenting and the girls eyes and faces saying: "Is he for real?!?! 😮"
"Never tell them your plans"!!!! That is the BEST PARENTING ADVICE EVER!!! I never ever ever tell my kids anything ahead of time! "Mom, why are you packing a suitcase?" "Oh sweetie, moms just putting away clothes in storage for a while. My closet is too full." My youngest kids are over the age of 9 and I STILL never tell them anything ahead of time!!! 😂 😂 😂 😂

number 2 i learned the hard way when my child was around 1 to 7........if we said anything about Disney or miniature golf i would hear about it 300 times in one day....and around age 2 they start memorizing the direction u are driving

The perceived notion that children have "no concept" of time is an error on OUR PART as ETERNAL BEINGS/Souls trapped in FINITE BODIES!
A child's concept of time is PROOF that babies are "sent from Heaven/gifts from God"... Babies are PROOF that Heaven exists in the realm of the ETERNAL! If you come from a place where time was created AND has no end to it, of course you wouldn't know the difference between past-present-or-future!! On the other end of our life-span though, our "forgetfulness/dementia" is just another way of "reversing the process" to prepare us to be returned to our Creator.

Hey, be glad Amala just calls her doll “baby.” I had a white child in my class who had a black baby doll. When I asked her the doll’s name, she replied “Brown Baby.” Didn’t even know what to say to that!

maybe she just knows the colour brown and is innocently calling the doll brown ... well lets hope thats the reason
I definitely think it was innocent, it was just unexpected in the moment! In my experience with preschoolers, they don’t judge others by skin color (and often don’t even notice the differences anyway).
+Shannan Goff Welsh, so true. Toddlers don't know color unless it's talked about in the home. When my daughter was Amalah's age, she didn't describe her preschool friends by color. That's something that's taught.
