  • If you're anything like me, you struggle to be creative when it comes to making dishes for parties. Most of the time, I want to smoke something, but it just takes WAY TOO LONG! Well, this year, I am not allowing any indecisiveness when it comes to superbowl party dishes. You NEED to make these hot dog burnt ends. No, they are obviously not as good as normal burnt ends. No, they don't compare at all to low and slow brisket. However, your friends will love these smokey, sweet, salty, melt in your mouth chunks of meaty bliss. And, they only take about 2 hours!     OK, I have a temperature question, I know there can be a temp difference from the firebox to the stack, BUT? is there any noticeable difference from the Back (Hinge side) and the opening? (Handle Side)?
    Other than that, Those looked amazing.

      Dude we were in a deep freeze last week. My street was a skating rink for 6 days. My landlord was even saying he has never seen it this bad, which just means this bullshit is following me LOL! What do you mean by the handle side? Like where the opening to the cooking chamber is? With this particular smoker it's about 6-8 inches of hot spot. I've asked some people, and we have all agreed that's alot of inches that may be out of the ordinary. Idk how you feel.

      I need to try that! I've done a chuck roast brisket before and it was good, but not as good as brisket obviously!
