Wilson's eulogy is the only one House would have approved. Brutally honest and without sugar coating.
2 years too late but the other eulogies are equally true. Wilson has to give that eulogy to tell the whole truth.
I also don’t think at this point that’s what House would have valued. This episode is literally about him learning how to change and love himself for real this time
@@egghamilton7205 I dunno. I think he doesn't change so much as go all in on what he has valued the most for the last twenty years, which is Wilson. I guess in that sense he loves himself enough to let himself prioritize what he wants to.
It was like the one house did for his dad..good stuff
Only thing wrong with it is that we know that Wilson is a soft hearted person. He'd have been crying while he raged about House's selfishness
Imagine having no clue who 13 is and suddenly you hear "He was willing to kill me".
"I'll always be grateful" 😂
Weird flex but ok

i only ever watch the youtube clips with no context, so i was a little confused when she said that. can someone explain why she'd be killed pls?
@@michemicalromance Long story short there is a genetic disease in her family and when it gets bad you can't realy do anything anymore beside being a vegetable in a bed waiting to die. And at some point in the show she realises that no one will be there for her to take the decision of killing her instead of letting her rot in a bed forever. So House told her he would do it.
@@michemicalromance She had Huntington's disease, and that is a disease that would have stripped her of the control of her body, leaving her mind to be trapped in a body that slowly wasted away, unable to interact with anyone or anything.
House promised not to let her suffer that way, and many fans of the show believe that after Wilson died, he eventually went to fulfill his promise.
I like how Wilson’s like “you can never be a doctor again” and house’s response is “I’m dead”
I felt like Wilson was having hallucinations, and when house said "I'm dead" it's like his own subconscious was telling him that to but yeah
@@esko911 The more I think about this, the more I agree. Especially since I just noticed that House doesn't have his cane when Wilson finds him on the stairs. And that Wilson literally saw a building collapse right over House.
Edit: I think it's typical in TV-shows and movies to depict characters that are dead but live as a figment of someone's imagination to be more healthy than when they eere alive.
@@ichodernicht8131 David Shore (the author of the idea) refuted this theory. This is not a hallucination
@@danilkikinev7240 if its video pls send the link
@@danilkikinev7240 I believe this. The show was dark *at times* but ending it on a note that Wilson spends his last dying months with a hallucination of his dead best friend... that is way too dark an ending to officially cap off the show.
But it is a valid and fun theory.
Wilson: *Verbally assaulting the deceased*
*Phone rings*
Wilson: "Come on, this is a funeral."
😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lets be honest House would be proud of him. Specially if he is mocking him in his own funeral
It's a stage in grief. Or two depending on your views. Denial and Anger
@@MrQuestiel I would hardly call it denial, denial would be him saying House is still out there somewhere. Even then it wouldn't be denial because he is out there XD
Best scene in the entire series. House sacrificed his career and life so he can be with Wilson on his last 5 months. This proves house does indeed have a heart
Nope. This proves that Wilson is the only person who is pitiful enough to be his friend
Nope. He already lost his career & medical license as he was scheduled for jail. It was a selfish act. He needed Wilson more than Wilson needed him. He asked dying Wilson to take the fall for him so he wouldn't lose the 5 months. After Wilson refused, he did this to get what he wanted. House always got what he wanted at the end.
To be fair, thanks to House violating his probation, he was going to jail. I don't remember for how long exactly, but it will be longer than the months Wilson has left to live. His career was already over thanks to the damage his prank caused. With nothing else but his time with Wilson to lose, to evade arrest, he faked his death.
@@hiddenmaster6062 6 months
I heard a fan theory where he died in the fire and what we see is just his brain cells firing off the last bit of impulses they got, he just hallucinating the end
“I’m dead, Wilson”
The tension I felt hearing that, after this show full of hallucinations and mindfucks, was unimaginable
He meant legally dead.
The author of the episode confirmed he is alive in that scene.
@@edenarchive4150 Yeah, and the next scene proved that.
But the first time someone watches this scene, right after a full season of mind-fuckey... it isn't clear yet.
It doesn't make sense that he survives, so I don't blame anyone thinking he's a hallucination. How'd he know when to text Wilson during the eulogy, and with an appropriate message? (What, he overheard from nearby and beat Wilson home?) How'd he switch dental records that quickly? And also, how - he's a hacker, now? How'd he get into the hospital to leave a clue for Foreman to let him know he survived? He's not lightning-fast and invisible, and everyone at the hospital knows who he is.
It's just absurd.
He was walking without a cane or a limp in this episode at the end.
The writer is forgetting things.
@@Life-tastic he doesn’t care anymore and is probably drugged out of his mind, after all, he isn’t a doctor anymore, he doesn’t have to follow the rules
To me, Wilson represented House's alter ego. Wilson was the only one who truly understood House.
If you are under the impression that Wilson understood House, then doesn't that mean you also understand House? By watching the show we only observe behaviours and logical processes, I don't think anyone could decide who understands House.
@@robertcrawford377 I didn't say I understood Wilson. I didn't say I understood House. I don't understand you. These are fictional characters. The writers can make the characters into anything they like. To me, (IMHO) Wilson was House's alter ego. Nobody understood House like Wilson.
Charles Anthony i agree too I feel like that’s why House cared for him so much, because understanding is such a huge deal in relationships imo same thing’s happened to me
Wilson never truly understands House. Shown in countless scenes. He's the one that tolerates him the most. Don't confuse that with understanding.
i think cuddy and his ex-wife understood him just as much
That scene is one of my favorite. I wish they let him talk more about House. People usually mistake House's personality for his character. He cared deeply about every single person he let close to him. He didn't interfere in their lives because he was nosey or curious as much as because he cared deeply for them and to some point, he loved them. He wanted 13 back on the team so she wouldn't be alone and lose herself like him, and once he saw she found love, he fired her. He confessed to chase how miserable and lonely he is so he wouldn't turn out like him. He loved Wilson to the point he would literally die for him. He made Taub a better husband, person, and father. He made Cameron a stronger person. He respected Foreman and helped him to get over his past and become a better doctor. He actually made everyone around him the person he wished he was.
And when Kutner died, he immersed himself in a conspiracy to try and explain why Kutner would kill himself because he couldn't overcome the idea that he had missed signs of a deep depression in one of his friends, because he did like Kutner or Kutner wouldn't have stayed on the team to learn from him.
That's right. There's a difference between personality and character. People always assume caring for others means that you're soft, gentle and kind. House had integrity - he was frank about what he thought, liked and disliked and what he didn't care about. He didn't spare people's feelings. The wound a friend inflicts is kinder than the kiss of an enemy.
And what did he do to cuddy
i think its sad how few people realised this
house cared about pretty much every one he spent time with
he cared about most of his patients its why he stayed away from them
@@ei256 The real question is what did Cuddy do to him...
Plot twist: Only Wilson can see him.
Wilson be like:

Halo Jumper that actually makes a lot of sense
Hoo.. hoho mate.. nope.. you're not gonna change my mind about his 'death'.
Oof. Thats a mindfuck
I'm waiting for a movie where Wilson is dead and House hasn't been seen for years, until 13's condition deteriorates and he keeps his promise to her.
hahs4 that's the same i think since the end of the show.... We want a Dr. House movie
Who's 13
shivann justin
The girl who said "He was willing to kill me and I'll always be greatful." The actress is named Olivia Wilde. I forgot what her name was in the show though, other than "13".
Ethan Chapa i thought it was dr. Remy Hadley.
We all want to see that but we wont thats why this is a great ending
I like how Wilson isn't even that surprised.
This isn't even something you wouldn't expect house to do
lol same. Not even surprised 🤣
He's got immune lol
Well the guy fake diagnose himself for Brain Cancer just to test and get high on a experimental drug.. lol

Lélousaurus it’s called a joke
Kaczka lol 😂
My mom has lupus
It's never lupus
This was House's way of showing his love towards his best friend. It's beautiful.
Wilson didn't deserve that terminal cancer, but on such conditions, imo this was the best way to end the show.
I wonder what happened after Wilson's death. Did House ODed himself to death or did he keep going and stole Wilson's identity?
It's assumed that he eventually went to kill Thirteen.

That's a real friendship! House was a true friend. He sacrificed his entire medical career for the last 5 months of Wilson's life
he pretty much sacrificed his entire life, he'd have to go to some other country to pursue any meaningful career since he's literally dead
@@paranoir That would make for a fun show tho. House continuing medicine, but now under actual tough resource constraints. House was always inventive, and now he'd have to rely on that to get stuff done.

House gave up his career and years in prison for 6 months of fun for Wilson
Wilson was the Watson so thats why.
Honestly, the fact that Wilson was so impassioned by his thoughts on House that he forgot his own ringtone is actually amazing.
I think he said "it is not my phone", House planted it hence why he didn't recognise it
iam guessing the phone was from the guy that died on the building
"I'm dead, Wilson. How do you want to spend your last 5 months?"
Makes sense that he'd pull a Sherlock
Well Gregory House is actually based on Sherlock Holmes.
No shit, Sherlock 😂
Holmes faked his death?
No, Sherlock Holmes actually died in the books falling from a cliff with Moriarty I think, but after that, thousands of fans went crazy using black clothes and bows to honor SH, so eventually Conan Doyle would revive the character. On the other hand, Sherlock from the BBC series did faked his death.

he is something.. he doesn't care for anything that doesn't matter to him.. but when he loses something he cares about he goes ballistic... be it his job, cuddy, his friend.. if you get between him and his target/obsession/thing you are in trouble.. when his job/mind is endangered he goes to rehab/psychiatric clinic, when he loses cuddy he crashes her home and as a finale he crashes the rest of his life just to spend 5 months with the only person that he cares in the world.
i can see an extremely over-exagerated version of me in house..
And somehow I feel House could STILL somehow manage to get back into medicine after Wilson dies and people would see him at the funeral...
Just because he is just THAT good of a doctor. XD
dyzio2206 he even cares about the stupid clinic patients. He makes himself look like a dick because its the most guarenteed way that no one would feel bad for him.

Script writer: How many times do you want the phone to ring?
Director: Yes.

13: he was willing to kill me. I’m grateful
One minor complaint: all the rest of the cast gets these poignant, almost profound lines about their experiences with House, and Chase, the guy who worked with him longest and arguably grew the most under him, gets half a line? And, at that, one that's basically something Cameron would say, not him.
Scarecrow545 Because Chase is the new House.
Thank you SO much. I thought I was the only one a little irked by that.
The reason why is because although under house chase became a better doctor he was mostly so house had a protege he grew as a doctor but not as a person he was just fine the way he was
but the thing is thats such a chase thing to do lmao, hes never been great at expressing himself, thats why cameron x chase went down like a kamikaze pilot
You're right, Chase was basically like his son. and It showed in season 8
Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.
Jason Martin should have taken the high ground
the ironic thing is he didn't die.
Jason Martin you should really see the show
Dumb ass, you don't get it
Maybe the best comment ever Jason... what a series
That moment when everyone comes back for this scene and you see how big of an impact House had on everyone he ever met. The differences are _astounding._ Look at how different they are now compared to the beginning.
This was the best ending to a tv series that I have ever watched. Strong, courageous and grim and hopeful at the same time. Incredible. Even now, after many years, remembering the episode brings tears to my eyes.
lol, what would've happened if Wilson after checking his phone suddenly said "HE'S ALIVE! FOLLOW ME!"
Makoto Mikami I feel like that’s why Wilson had a phone that wasn’t his showing it was a burner phone instead of his personal phone showed at least alittle bit that House wanted only him to know at least that’s what I got from it
@@ghhhp although... and mind you even though I fucking adore this series, I'm still going to unleash my full logic nerd brain here on this sequence because that's just who I am lol
First of all, House is far enough away from the funeral location that Wilson had to drive there. House couldn't possibly have known when Wilson was eulogizing to send him that mocking text.
also it's always kind of bothered me just a tad that it's VERY likely that Wilson would've noticed where House was at least several seconds prior to when he does in the scene, he probably would've as he was still in the car pulling up the block.

@@NewWesternFront I thought when he got that text, that it was an hallucination even when he drove to see him.
In an alternate show where wilson is a complete idiot it would make sense, not here.
Thus performing the only true selfless act in the show.
That is assuming he told his mom about the plot.
Actually, i remember in one episode Cuddy was telling House that the girl that was stalking him called 15 times and that his mother is not that interested in him, and he said "Well, maybe i'd be better adjusted if she was"
Which implies that House didn't really had a good relationship with his mother.
House really loves his mother, it was his father he didn't get along with.
Which is why its especially perplexing if he didn't tell his mom about this plot. If he loved her, he wouldn't have let his mom think he was dead.
There was probably no point to it in his mind. Besides, didn't he go full Sherlock and leave behind clues for everyone that mattered or was at least significant enough to him that he was alive?
Who's to say his mother wasn't left one?
House risked his life, dedicated to enjoy it with Wilson last 5 months . Man, the friendship is just indescribable
When he was on the bus with Amber, he said "I don't want them to hate me".
In the end, no one hated him. No one.
On the bus, his line was "I don't want HIM (Wilson) to hate me"
This was the perfect ending for the show in my opinion. House had spent years abusing Wilson's friendship and this was House's way of atoning for it by spending Wilson's last moments with him so he didn't have to die alone. Wilson's blood type was O- while House's blood type was AB+ implying that Wilson was a big giver and that House was a big taker. There has never been a better bromance on television.
I like to think that House lived on after Wilson died but only so that he would end 13's life as he promised. After his promise was fulfilled he would then end his life. That's what I believe would have happened.

Jervis Tetch Yousician English dude, do you speak it?
Well, she loves money too much to be professional
I forget if it was David Shore or Hugh Laurie who said once in an interview that from Cuddy's perspective, House destroyed her home, endangered (even if he calculated the risk in his head) her family/daughter/herself, and did a genuinely crazy thing that seriously should be the point of no return in any relationship, and if they were in Cuddy's shoes, they really wouldn't have attended the funeral. But I do also recall Shore saying if Lisa Edelstein was available, she would have been in a role similar to Stacy's as seen here. Technically those are both opposing points, one arguing that in-story she shouldn't (no obligation to) be there, but the other arguing that out-of-story (writer's perspective) she probably would have been there.
Anyways, I would have loved to have seen Cuddy in this scene, as well as one of House's hallucinations earlier in the same episode, as it would have closed things off for the series very nicely. Really, anywhere Stacy was used in this episode, I would have preferred seeing Cuddy, with the exception that if Stacy had also appeared at the funeral to make an extra comment on House, that would have been a logical thing for the writers to include.
It was in that moment that Wilson realised, the only person house ever cared about, was him

I have a theory that Wilson actually became an addict to Vicodin to cope with the pain of Chemo. He then started hallucinating House being there, including the text and him on a motorcycle. House literally says, "I'm dead, Wilson." House became to Wilson what Amber was to House.
That's very imaginative, nice

2:00 Chase internally thinking "maybe not the right time to rant on, but Wilson's right about everything is saying"
Seeing Stacey there was a nice touch. She always loved House, and continued to do so even after so many years apart.
Wilson's the one friend who sees you for what you really are but will still be there with you because there's even a slight modicum of interest in you that will keep him around. He won't sugarcoat it to people because he knows who you are better than anyone else and that's why I loved his character so much. They nailed the Holmes and Watson dynamic with Wilson and House.
Honestly, I still never got over the fact that from seasons 1-3 they built up a relationship between Cameron and House, as if there was going to be something that happens between them later and then they just...stopped it. Arguably, Cameron was one of the only people who understood House well enough to be able to get into his head and help him change even if that wasn't as visible on the show. He might have teased and joked around with her, even ignored her sometimes but you could always tell whenever there was a scene that was JUST them, and it was one of those "deep" scenes, he always listened to her because she never tried changing him, she helped him grow and he helped her grow whether she saw it or not. I just always wished that they would've given Cameron something longer to say at the funeral (even chase and foreman because they were the original three you know?). I'll never get over how they just cut her off the show because she honestly was such an incredible character, she had SO much character development. And her and House really got each other, that's why whenever he hallucinated, he hallucinated Cameron because even though the show slowly stopped showing her as much she had a HUGE impact on him.
(idk if anyone is reading this sorry i just had to rant about it)
House didn't hallucinate abt Cameron he always hallucinated Amber

Cuddy, Cameron, house's ex wife and his fake wife all loved him so very much.
Foreman, chase, taub, cuddy and every other co-workers of house had enormous trust on house even in difficult situations.
Wilson always stayed loyal and so was Cuddy even house broke their faith many times.
It's a briliant show...
I never made it to season 8, so seeing this title was a huge shock to me, but after reading the comments, I'm less okay with Wilson's death than House's. Not just because Wilson was a nice person, the dramatic irony of the show's one oncologist dying of cancer is just too much. Wilson spent his life helping treat people with cancer, and so many of the patients on this show get to live, but not Wilson? The diagnosis is so taunting too, he knows what he has, the progression of the disease, yet with all his training he knows it can't be cured, only how long he has to live.
Exactly...
It's Caner :D There is no cure for it!
I loved the House series initially but how ridiculous that these medical shows evolve into the physicians being the biggest patients.
@@68air Actually, physicians are always at the greatest risk, since they do take care of the ill individuals. Like hell, there are people who are treating corona as of right now. Physicians are usually overworked, immunologically weak, plus exposed to hundreds of different diseases. They usually end up as a pretty large percent of the patient population.
@@Appri Truth. I'm not even a doctor, just a lowly therapist, but thanks to working in a healthcare environment I caught a vicious dose of the 'Rona the week before we went into lockdown last year. The combination of stress from overwork and bureaucratic bullshit, and a diet of diet cola, sandwiches, and donuts from the bakery next door probably didn't help much... Healthcare workers make the worst patients in the world too, because we usually have some idea of what's wrong with us, and know when we're being jerked around.
I really think this was the best thing House could have done for Wilson. It shows how much he meant to him.
3:35 “You’re destroying your entire life. You can’t go back from this. You’ll go to jail for years. You can never be a doctor again.”
“I’m dead Wilson. How do you want to spend your last five months.”
13's speech is so deep. Does anyone else believe their connection was the best one? They had a mutual understanding
Out of all member of House's team(s), yeah, I think they has the best relationship. I read somewhere that Thirteen was the closest thing House had to a friend out of all of his teammates and I agree. Ironically (given how long it took for House to figure out 13) House and 13 understood each other in a way no one else could. They both experienced pain and loss to a degree that House didnt believe anyone else could, but then he met 13 and saw her pain. He saw that her pain was greater than his and he hoped that if she could get through it, live with it, then he could too. Similarly 13 felt that House understood her best out of everyone (including Foreman). Once he knew her he didnt they and figure her out just because of the puzzle but because he was genuinly trying to help. In 5x05 he pushed so she would get out of her self destructive cycle. In 7x18 he could see that she was in immense pain and he wanted to help. The spudgun competition being a distraction, and him wanting to know what happened was to know how he could help her. Which he did.
Also, like Wilson said in 6x05 (I think?) she is the one person Housr couldnt manipulate, which makes her special to House.
And I STILL want to know what House will do after those 5 months and Wilson dies for real to cancer.
Will he just flee the country? Will he come clean? Will he turn himself in?
What will he do?! XD
Radicaldanny He is in Hawai, drinkin margaritas and shit, after he crashes his car into Lisa Cuddy house he flew to some tropical island so i assume that he did it again
Il capo di tutti capi id like to think he called Stacy to fix his situation and wont go to jail.
Chase becomes house's new Best Friend, he goes back to PPTH getting a new team since Chase is the leader of the old one, Foreman decides to practice again becoming the head of Neurology.
and Kate ( the patient psychiatrist of the episode frozen) becomes the new Dean of medicine
Sara Zonana
I wanna watch that! :(
Radicaldanny I think he will kill him silf after Wilson did
I was so desperate to know the same thing seriously! I ending was very sad! 😒
*cries*
Its never lupus...
Just finished watching House M.D. again. And the ending still hits. It's such a good show.
Man...
Almost every episode of House pulled at my heart's strings in some way and had my feelings swing from one extreme to another. From anger to excitement, from despair to happiness, from panic and dread to bliss and tranquility. And every time I was always anticipating the new ways this show was gonna amaze me next. I had just finished watching this last episode and was waiting for the worst. I have been hooked on this show for a month now, watching episode after episode non-stop, and after investing so much I was kinda preparing myself for potential disappointment. There were so many amazing shows I've watched over the years that had the same runtime as House that had completely flopped their ending and soured my memories of them and I was afraid House might be one of those shows cuz it was so consistently good; how could a show run for this long, be this amazing and then land perfectly at the end as well?
Welp, House did it. Remember the swinging from one extreme to another I had with all the other episodes? The biggest moment of that swing was with this episode. The show managed to put me in so much despair and hopelessness and then pull me out of that perfectly to the other side in the most flawless manner possible. Despite the immense sadness I felt past couple of episodes, the show didn't leave any open wounds and had satisfied all of my sentiments. It wasn't just amazing, it exceeded the metric of how amazing it could be by the end which it had set itself prior and completely broke me. I will forever be grateful for this experience and I'm sad and happy that it ended.
I see this scene now, and all I can see is Matthew Casey and Emma Swan...
Lol me two but every time I hear Chase's Australian accent it throws me off because Casey doesn't have one xd
Lol SAME
Hannah G I literally said that to myself I cant see them as Chase and Cameron anymore
Hahaha u r so cute
I thought that was her but the voice didn't sound right 😂
I was crying SO hard during the funeral... Then when you see House, and realize he's GENUINELY alive (I didn't trust that it wasn't a hallucination or something at first), I was obliterated. I was happy, but still sad, and relieved, but worried... Looking back I'm actually amazed I didn't start suffocating.
after 8 seasons i knew that sonofabitch wasnt dead XD i was just like "aight where is he this time"
That's some emotional rollercoaster u had to ride through 😂😂
Last two episodes were so emotional. I tried not not cry but I couldn't control that feeling.
@Ard Tru shut up!!!
@Ard Tru Who said so?
Does "shut up!!!" somehow means I believe in god? Nope.
Just finished watching all House episodes. After being recommended these clips on CZcams, thought that watching full episodes was worth and, and I was right. I thought I knew the whole storyline of episodes from these clips, I was expecting House to actually be dead, and this be an illusion/hallucination, but the scenes after suggest otherwise.
Overall, love that you can still post clips that give us content, but not ruin anything major/plot-twists
I was late to this show & god damn..I don’t think my wife & I have ever laughed as much together as we have because of Gregory House. This show is a masterpiece’Thank you David Shore & all included.Brilliant!❤️
Everyone wants a friend like Wilson. I want a friend like House. Always right, always honest, and no matter how much he doesn't seem to care, he actually does.
Enjoy yourself!
Most people who receive one of those kinds of friends, push us away. 😂😅
I've always wondered why he doesn't have a cane when Wilson meets him on the apartment stairs
Well, his cane probably burned to ashes and if you want to fake your death you don't go caneshopping i guess.
@@ThePaviliongamer Maybe he starts to use Methadone again...since it was the only thing that cured his pain...
@@petko4207 since he doesn't have to use this'abilities' any more.
Cuddy’s absence sticks out like a sore thumb
Just finished the series....had to come watch this clip again. They brought everyone back... very surprised Cuddy didn't show up after being in love with him for 20 years
Yes... Why didnt she show up... I dont understand 😢
@@manonnagelmaeker8167 Because the producers screwed over the actress. they wanted to cut her salary by half.
@@Stuart267 Jesus... Thats so unfair... Why would they do that to her...
@@manonnagelmaeker8167 Well save for Hugh's everyone's was getting cut, but she was pretty much the female lead so they could have compromised. would have made the final season a lot better.
I interpreted this as Cuddy not wanting anything to do with House after the incident. Him crashing into her house was the breaking point for her
0:53 i have been asking for years and still need, NEED a special for house M.D. were he comes back to kill thirteen, don't know how that would play out but i need to see that
Scene opens with thirteen at an open air beach bar in front a beautiful ocean view. The bartender, off camera, places a drink on the bar in front of her. She smiles and thanks him. She takes a long drink, and sighs. Then she hears a familiar sound, as of someone with a cane walking thumping their way towards the bar.
Thirteen: **smiles** "You know, I never thought you were actually dead. You're too stubborn to die."
*House limps up and sits down on the chair next to her leaning his cane against the bar: "I had a promise to keep. What kind of a person would I be if I didn't keep my promises?"
Thirteen: **looks down out barely controlled trembling hand** "A normal person?"
House: "I don't believe you've ever considered me normal."
Thirteen: **smirks** "I barely even considered you to be a person."
House: "Touche." **looks around** "You know, these bar stools are a little uncomfortable. Those lounge chairs on the beach look a bit more inviting wouldn't you say?"
*Thirteen smiles at House. Camera pans back as both House and Thirteen pick up their canes to make their way slowly to the beach chairs*
Thirteen: **lays back panting after getting to the chairs** "You know, that used to be lot easier."
House: **sits back with a grunt** "Just makes you appreciate it more. At least that's what the nurses told me when I was going through PT."
Thirteen: **half smiles** "Some things I should have appreciated a lot more."
House: "Some." **signals for waiter to bring them their drinks**
**Waiter puts drinks on the small table between them. House pushes hers closer so she can reach it and takes his own. She reaches for it, hand shaking but manages to keep it from spilling**
House: **looking more serious** "The meds are failing, aren't they."
Thirteen: **takes a long drink and stares off over the ocean** "Yes."
House: "How long."
Thirteen: "The degeneration is accelerating."
**several moments pass, both sipping their drinks watching the sun set**
Thirteen: **tears up a bit, but wipes away the tears and smiles** "So, are you here just for a visit or are you here to keep your promise to me?"
House: **pauses then smiles a little sadly** "I already have."
Thirteen: **looks confused, then looks at her drink**
House: "Nembutal. Available from any local veterinarian. Used to euthanize animals, but just as effective on humans. Dissolves almost instantly, only requires a small dose, and is completely painless."
Thirteen: "But the autopsy..."
House: "Natural causes. The local coroner is sympathetic. Besides, two months ago I treated him for not wrapping his package properly before dropping it off. He'd rather me not tell his wife."
Thirteen: "Still, if someone were to..."
House: "What? Go looking for a dead guy as a suspect?"
Thirteen: **chuckles sadly while tearing up, then falls silent for several moments** "Thank you, House."
House: "What are friends for?"
Thirteen: **yawns and looks back towards the sunset, getting drowsy** "It really is beautiful, isn't it?"
House: "Yes. Yes it is."
**House reaches out and holds her hand. He watches as the sun goes down, while her breathing slows and eventually stops. He then let's go, slowly gets up with his cane, and limps off to the sound of waves crashing on the beach.**
At least, that's how I picture it happening. :)
@@xyrus345 so i got curious, did you already imagine this or you got inspire by my comment? Either way its really good hehe
@@martinacosta3821 It was a spontaneous response to your comment. :)
Does anyone else think that when things got really bad for Wilson and they were both ready, House euthanized him and then as soon as Wilson was unconscious, he killed himself? Just a theory.
it's plasible.....
The whole episode was about him not killing himself
Clayton de Freitas Lima until wilson died.
i think that too, house say to wilson on season 6 if you died,i'm alone.
no, house made a promise to 13
House, in his own way, was a hell of a friend.
He LITERALLY died for him. DON’T TOUCH ME!
'He was willing to kill me and I am grateful for that'. What the fuck
She has huntington. So they made a deal about killing her :)
She had a genetic disease and she didnt want to suffer so House and she made a deal for killing her when the disease start to affect her .
Death can sometimes be the only release. We are but animals. Would you want your dog to suffer to death or end their life before they go through all that?
Euthanasia
Why bother explain?
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THIS WAS IN MY RECOMMENDED! I AM ONLY ON SEASON 1! OMFG!!!!

Wilson's rant about house was the true sign of their friendship.
Only true friends tell you what you need to hear, even after death.
It still feels weird that Cuddy wasn't on the funeral
The ending really took me by surprise. I just finished this last night, and I thought it was perfect. It was classic House!
You know, I wish I never spoiled myself by knowing that he faked his own death before watching the scene for the first time I started the show during the pandemic, and actually stopped for quite some time, and I started watching back from season six where I left off about two months ago, and All I can say is the show is brilliant I mean Gregory house as a character you will never get that ever again, especially in these times. He was just brilliant and I thought the show ended really well. You know he sacrificed everything to spend the last few months with his best friend. I really also enjoyed all the past characters making an appearance seeing that they’re doing better. What a great show.
I like how his one real friend is the only one with the guts to call him out.
Would love to see a series where House is still doing doctoring but in some 3rd world country where he doesn't need a license and so part of the puzzle is figuring out how to solve cases with not the greatest technology.
You know, it's never revealed if he told his mom about faking his death. If he didn't..that's too much.
Aivottaja Knowing House and the way he acts to the people around him, he probably didn't. The only people who truly ever got exactly who House was is Wilson, and to a much smaller extent, 13. People may have liked him, but they were never truly close to him.
I mean, regardless of his inability or lack of interest in connecting with people, allowing your parent to think you're dead would be really fucked up.
Aivottaja House is a fucked up person.
Aivottaja id do it..
Aly BIATCHEz
Since you are not House, you must really hate your mom.
I loved how this show ended.
"Shut up. You idiot." 😂😂😂🤣
Imagine if Wilson never existed and was only ever a symptom of house's Vicodin addiction
Johnlock and Hilson are so similar, and both their dynamics fit together so well. And of course House pulled a Sherlock, both of them were trying to protect the people they loved the most
I always watched random episodes and out of order, but knew exactly what was going on, and felt for each character. This hit me in the feels more than any episode, mostly because everyone he worked with and knew thinks he's dead, save for Wilson. It's iconic af though, I might just go and watch all seasons from start to end.
"But somewhere in there he knew how to love."this is the best one😢😍😢
i like how senile the description is
“House is dead.”
I miss house 😢. I stop watching TV after house ended. Bring house back!!!
That's why i bought the whole box set
