I brought one of these usb it was unusable for large file size. If file size is less than 1 GB read/write speed is fast as per there spec. but when it is more than 1 GB it was extremely slow, slower than my 15 years old usb
There's a possibility that it's a bad drive. I have a couple that have been booting OS's and others that have transferred large videos sizes and performance is on par with these 2GB and 1GB tests.
You just take a wide but thin screwdriver, similar size to a "tweaker" screwdriver and place it in the seam just below the USB plug, then gently twist. Do this gently on both sides, slowly working the cover back, and it will "pop" then slide off.
the 64gb ones are currently 3 pack for $11.49+tax - can't beat that I think at this time - great for loading up with music for the car - or for updating certain car software with USB stick (some require a 64GB stick) they also have the 2-pack of 128GB for $11.99
I’m considering buying some 256 GB ones for TV shows. Write once and then only read. Possible they hold up for 5 years as read-only?
a normal USB flash drive and most importantly files are written to it quickly
That it is.

Mine died and i barely used never buying anything teamgroup again, already have a nvme die and a usb drive.
That's very odd. I've used their NVMe drives and have yet to have any issues out of those as well as these USB drives and they've seen heavy use.
