I really hope that someone high up in Sunseeker reads this .... THIS is the type of video that we the owners, buyers and potential customers want to see. We don't want a "director of ...." who has clearly made enough to have his own 86 Yacht parked up somewhere in the med - pontificating for 10 minutes about what a great job "his" design team did selecting polished stainless steel wearing a gold Rolex Sea Dweller and a pinky ring, James has EXACTLY the right level of pent up enthusiasm and knowledge of the product without coming over as cocky, gushy or condescending. Keep up the great work James. Have a great Christmas. This new Manhattan 55 look amazing.

Right on Chris. Not a lot of factories can put something like this together. I used to do them in the RV industry - and just because someone has a camera doesn't make them a pro. James is a natural at this.

One of the best yachts in its class arguably the best in class. I love the styling of the interior, very fresh and modern and some of the new tweaks just finish off the looks. This is my dream yacht. The superiority over the Ferretti 500 I was interested before made me rethink my decision. The space is better used and the design is much more beautiful. It's more expensive but the price worth it, specially the engine room that looks "safer", for lack of better words. Thanks for the review.

Very modern interior and got the balance right, the flybridge looked amazing. Would be perfect for Thailand i could definitely live on this boat, it's way bigger than both apartments i rent in Chiang Mai.

It is undoubtedly a dream boat ... personally it just changed two things: the grill for the flybridge, and on the platform an area like Manhattan 68. And for me it would be perfect.
Firstly James, you are getting incredibly good at this, some of your earlier reviews were good but you could tell you were a little nervous , this is a great review James well done! The boat is incredible for the size so much space, and so well planned and designed. If I could afford one , my only concern would be the 150kg lift of the bathing platform, with giro stabiliser fitted. Apart from that probably the best 55 yacht on the market today. Thanks Michael, it was certainly very strange getting used to chatting away to a camera, but I've really enjoyed doing this over the chaotic 2020 year, met some great online friends and sold an amazing number of boats from the videos, so lots of plans as to how I can do it better next year!
The platform lift is just a recommendation and doesn't actually affect the warranties, (same mech with or without the gyro), so I'd just go with a Williams + gyro if required and accept the top end might be 1-1.5kn slower. Have a great Christmas.

I haven't measured up but reckon we could probably just about squeeze 2 separate helm chairs in there like you see on the Predator 60. I'll take a better look next time I'm onboard.
The only thing I wish there was that I never see (on most boats, not just yours) is space for a hot tub that doesn't block deck hatches to something important. I plan to live aboard when I find a boat and I need to get a therapeutic hot tub, but the engine/generator hatches are always in the cockpit deck and even the fly bridge usually doesn't have enough space for one. Do you do custom models? Possibly cheaper price if I choose to leave out certain storage seating so I have space for one? Or possibly make the engine room hatch smaller and move it to the side of the deck so there's plenty of "open" deck space for one?

Why does the gyro change the bathing platform capacity?
I have my eye on a 45’ fly that compared to this looks like a trailer home inside.

Hi James, each system has their own place in our range. On the 55 Manhattan, we fit a gyro stabiliser.
Another good one James, but curious, why do crew cabin doors open from bottom and transom shower opens from top?
I believe the crew cabin doors open like that for a degree of privacy. Remember that from a previous video.
Basically with a big tender on the back, if you had a top hinge crew door (which is much bigger than the shower locker door), it wouldn't clear the tender (without partly lowering the platform). It's less of an issue as the boats get bigger, so you see top opening doors on the 68 and upwards.

Hi, she would go as deck freight from Southampton. Takes about a month onboard the deck of a big cargo ship (how we move most of our boats around the world). I would need to get you a firm quote but I'd say around £60k GBP.
Not keen on interior colour scheme. Why only one wardrobe for women,s clothes,what about us men.
