I change belts, but that not fix this. Nylon gear was split. That lift up reading heads. I use fast glue and now it is fix for some time... Update. 25.7.2021 Glue don't fix this.
I bought a similar unit from a pawn shop for 499ZAR. Now, this unit has several issues, as listed below: Firstly, I require another cassette mechanism like this one, the only difference being the model number of my system which is MHC-771 or G77. This includes both the motors. Secondly, I am not sure what the issue is with the CD Player, so maybe another mechanism. Lastly, I require the flat ribbon cables, as these can be quite tricky to connect to the various internal boards... The insulation separates from the contacts, then you've got trouble ! LOL So far, the only items that are working perfectly, are the speakers (speakers new and second hand, are very very expensive, so this purchase was actually an absolute steal) and I have replaced the rubber belts on both the CD and tape mechanisms. If there is anybody that can assist me in trying to get the unit fixed, I will be eternally grateful... 🙏👍

I can't member that.. mesure that using tape on some like that.
2 long belts 12cm diameter, and 2 short belts 8cm.
