I was smiling at the Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel watch. It's been ages since I've seen one (they were introduced in the 1990s). Making a new band from the Louis Vuitton liquid silk was pure genius.

Always wonderful! I have an idea for two videos that I think many people would like to watch:
1. A video where you show (and tell people how to buy) all of your non-leather materials. The linings, glues, boards, cords, hardware, etc.
2. A video where you do the same as above, but with all of the tools and equipment, both the powered ones (edge creaser, skiver, foil stamper) and the hand tools.
I could be wrong, but I think both of those videos would get a very high number of views! Thanks for reading...

I have an identical fake lv bag, found at a flea market for less than 1us$. I don't have any leather making tools or skills, but I can sew. I'll give it a try, hopefully my poor old sewing machine can handle that thick canvas. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
