OMG...!! This is just incredible, literally I'm speechless. Any high end bag brand, such as Prada would be lucky to have you on their design team or the head of their "Second Life" repurposed bag division. This rocks.

But havent plenty of luxury brands been caught for cutting and throwing out even their unsold bags? I was considering whether buying a luxury brand bag was actually a good idea but turned out it's better to just buy leather goods from independent ateliers...

I'm currently working on a purse as an anniversary present for my wife, and I was needing some ideas on the finishing and joining to make sure it looks well put together and finished. I don't believe for a second that my end product will look as nice or professional as yours, but this video has taught me a few things I needed to know.

I almost had a heart attack when I saw them cut the bag apart. I thought they were fixing and refinishing the bag not cutting it up and making it into something new. Whew!

After seeing the attention to detail, craftsmanship, and imagining the sheer number of hours it must have taken to make it "just perfect," I would gladly pay top dollar for one of your creations. It would be an honor to own one of your artworks. I'd rather trust my money to you than to Prada's boutique. You are a true definition of an artist!

I've seen a few of your vids and been very impressed with your work. This Prada bag seemed to have too much life left to be a candidate for a second go. I'm surprised that its owner would have given up on what looked to be a trusted old friend.
Me, too. It didn't look in bad shape yet, tho the grey color is quite ooglay
I guess we are all different because I definitely see why the owner would want a change. Threads were frayed and parts of the leather were dog eared. Glazing all but off etc
It looks alot better than the original and its so beautiful i wish I have one

Your videos are so neat! The craftsmanship is beyond impressive. And watching and listening is so relaxing. If there was 1 thing I wish were added is that at the end, I'd like to see a side-by-side of the before and after, like in the thumbnail. But otherwise, so incredible!

Another flawless creation. I'd do pretty much anything to own this piece of art, but I'd love a bigger version for my laptop. Since I hate cellphones and doesn't use one, I always carry around my laptop wherever I go, and I haven't found the PERFECT bag/cover for my very thin and light laptop, that have a really big screen that kind of throws off the proportions, as of yet. This design is fabulous, and a bigger version would be a statement piece as well as the fact that I'd love to be able to show it off to all the people on the streets and, to be completely honest - mostly to my friends who doesn't seem to get why I can't stand cellphones (it's a matter of me not standing being reachable ALL the FRIGGIN' time via phonecalls, texts, apps and all that other meaningless shit that only adds to the everyday stress we all feel anyway).
Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to tell you how much I love your work. Every piece you do is crafted to perfection, and if I wasn't living well below the poverty line here in Norway (where a liter of Soy milk costs 30-40 Norwegian kroner, aprox. 3-4 Euro) I'd be your biggest customer.
You are showing amazing craftmanship and you are a true gem for people like me who appreciate true art, made by hand, by someone who's enjoying what they do. Each of your projects shows that you're always getting better, and your attention to detail is mesmerizing.

@@HahnsAtelier - I'm a trained seamstress who hasn't sewn for some time, due to life getting in the way. But soon enough. I find being creative is very stress free. Years ago I sewed for a living and that was hugely stressful due to dead-lines. Glad those days are over. Yes, I can hardly wait to get creative again and I'm thankful I have a head full of knowledge. I just came across your channel and I love it...and the tools.

The work done is great but I wouldn't remake an old bag. I would just had it retouched. In a few years it would have been a vintage Prada bag and its value could go up. Making a new bag is cool but you never know if the company will have a re edition later on. Beautiful work even though vi had a heart attack with cutting 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
