I always love to hear about experimental music, and this is definitely one of those sub genres I’d never specifically heard of. Cool video! ✨

Thank you Qwirky! I'm really happy you thought it was a cool video. I would love to do more of these genre videos in the near future :) best regards to you!

I had heard of it, and thought that the name was funny, but I never really knew what it meant.

Suicide were one of No Wave's precursors and inspirations. Active since the early 70's

No wave ia a pretty interesting genre. Cool video

Interesting stuff, not something you’d listen to casually, but it’s good to crank that shit up once in a while when you feel like it.

    This is a overused analogy
But Brian Eno really is the Forrest Gump of music

I just wanted to know the origins and meanings of no wave, honestly. Good thing this video says.

Great job but no wave and the downtown scene was already around by 73/74, and it lasted well into the mid 80s.

This music is completely useless. It's been deprived of its natural purpose. Just like people.

      How so?

@@jade_is_tired Yeah, I didn't really mean that as a criticism of the music. I think a lot of it is awesome. They do something with music that you usually only see in plastic media like sculpture. The format of the piece is part of the message.
