  • Welp boys, today I decided to do something that I've always wanted to do when I was little, and is to go to and tour/railfan at the somewhat infamous Wyandotte railroad crossings that have 3 different lines going through them, and which are owned by CN and NS, and which I've seen plenty of videos on CZcams when I was little (the ones filmed by owesri2 to be exact). So I thought today was a great day to do that, since I had time, a car and stuff like that lol. Hope ya enjoy the modern tour of this crossing
    A Few corrections:
As mentioned in a comment, the Safetran type 3 E bells that I toured around are actually Siemens E bells, one of them is high pitched as seen in my recent video of it
The Mechanical bells on the Cantilevers weren't reused for say, it was just a massive coincidence that the new Cantilevers that were installed on the NS tracks back in 2017 have brand new WCH Mechanical bells on them, while the older Mechanical bells that were there before got replaced by GS Type 2 and Siemens E bells before the Cantilevers were replaced
Video of what the crossing used to look like:

Wow, haven't really thought that a video of me touring an *active* crossing would get this many views! (Well then again this crossing is an icon lol)
Thanks for watching this one, and I do have a new, more in-depth tour video of this crossing if you guys wanna see more details of it: (I also have videos of it in action too!)

The first Video I've watched from owensri2 was when he filmed the Goddard Rd. malfunction on the Flat Rock Track from back in 2008!
That's where all these Ecorse, Wyandotte, & Trenton Railroad Crossings started to become my Favorite, like I'd say that these are my Most Favorite Railroad Crossings ever, as I love these a WHOLE LOT by how they're laid out & how they're wired! 😀
There are 14 Railroad Crossings joining together in that area, as for Ecorse, you have Visger Rd., Saillotte Rd., & Mill St., for Wyandotte here, you have Emmons Blvd., St. Johns St., Goddard Rd., Antoine St., Ford Ave., Vinewood Ave., Oak St. here, & Pennsylvania Rd., then for Trenton, you have Sibley Rd., King Rd., & Harrison Ave.!

    2:30 - Correction: High-pitched Siemens E-Bell
The Safetran Type 3 E-Bell has a bigger Base & it's more flat, while the Siemens has a smaller Base & with a design on it!
    3:18/8:10 - Correction: Low-pitched Siemens E-Bell
6:49 - Correction: The West Side is the CN Shoreline Track!
The Flat Rock Track is on the East Side!
7:34 - The Overhead Lights are still the original Incandescent Lights on the Shoreline Non-Gated Cantilever Signal!
The Main ones on it are now the LED Lights!
9:07 - Down there leads to Pennsylvania Rd., then to Trenton for Sibley Rd., King Rd., & Harrison Ave.!

You probably may tell that when I first went down to Wyandotte, this was the first crossing I decided to tour lol
But once again, thanks for the info, just wanted to spread info that I knew, whether if it was accurate or not. Just my first impression ya know lol
But afterwards, I done more research

Those bells were not reused because in 2012 they had gs type 2 ebells all of the signals did
