If Nvidia stopped hogging the cards for shield and enforced sales limits to 1, people could afford to buy a card for their rig and wouldn't need shield.
Their goal like any company is to make as much profit as possible even if that means you or I can't afford what they're selling, someone else can.

1400usd for a laptop with a 3070ti would be a great deal if it really happened. A desktop 3070ti itself costs that much almost.

I just bought a super expensive 3080ti because I had too for AI courses I plan to take. Reason being cuda, pytourch, and others are proprietary and only work on Nvidia 😡. After they doubled the price of the rtx 3080 with it's 12 gigs and refused to let reviewers review it and kept MSRP a trade secret. SCREW Nvidia! I am going team red and we all should too after being so anti consumer

@@GyroGarrison Nvidia and intel were dogging it when they had the monopoly on the cutting edge hardware. 2000 series sucked for example, yes. But the 3000 series and Intel's 12th gen has been a good showing. AMD has been making good shit for a few years now too.

GeForce Now is a saving grace for gamers during the shortage, but if more major publishers opted it, it would be even better. Not even the 3050 can save the market. We all know the inventory will be scooped up in less than a second.

I wish Nvidia chose you for their CES address. Your video made their presentation seem interesting. In reality it was well below par. Don't get me wrong. We're getting towards the end of the cycle so there wasn't much they could have launched.

the 3050 and 3090ti are both baits, you won't be able to get a 3050 and the 3090ti is literally just nvidia asking to take more of your money for next to no actual gain.
So they were sending all the cards to their cloud gaming server centers in order to rump up the Geforce Now product, while everyone is blaming miners for the shortages :D Brilliant.
If geforce now had World of Warcraft I'd consider it. I have gig fibre. It doesn't so I won't.

Nobody even cares about the high end at this point. People just want 1070/2060 performance for under $300.
