One of the Best. Too bad the world hasn't caught up yet. Sadly his talent and work ethic won't be fully appreciated till he passes. He should be in the Rock and Roll HOF!
I guess you were not around in the late 80s early 90s.Dude is a Legend!!
@keithhampton9700 I've been following him since 1996. RHH opened for Butthole Surfers. He doesn't get enough recognition. Yes he's been on late night tv, but not enough people know of his greatness.
Those who know, know. If you don't I have no sympathy for you.
The man plays a blazing guitar, live? I can't think of anyone better
I've been following him steadily since 2002, when I discovered Psychobilly and enjoyed it very much! They were one of the first bands I got to see in May 2003 with Unknown Hinson and The Legendary Shack Shakers opening the show! I absolutely loved it since day one!
Long live The Reverend Horton Heat....
Agreed!
Could be having the worst day but Galaxy 500 will always put a smile on my face. Appreciate what ya got.
One of my favorite bands of all time. Need to see live to fully appreciate.
I need to find a live show!
I saw them twice. The first one with the previous drummer Scott, and in 2019 with this lineup. Jim and Jimbo are amazing and humble, every member got their chance for the spotlight and in the song “Let me teach you how to eat” the special guests were the horn section from Voodoo Glow Skulls.
From the mid 90's to the early 2000's I saw pretty much every show they did in Seattle. Absolutely incredible live show. Great personalities as well, cool guys.
Who are the 5 dummies that gave this a thumbs down? Mis-click? Seizure? Tragically ignorant.
The Rev is amazing!
An amazing band, underrated.
no one thinks that you toolbag
They are most certainly not underrated. These "underrated" comments are shit.
@@jibblesq they are underrated in the sense that MANY MORE people should be aware of them.
And thensome. Will I ever tire of them? How about...never.
@@jibblesq ikr, nothing is really underrated when you have fans...the general public..blah.
Rev, you are the Shit Man. You are my Cousin, Music runs through our SOULS. Randy Heath
cool. 👍
Love that man! Seen him play 7 times....best ever version of “We Three Kings”.
Man, Jim can play. The Rev = Fun
Reverend Horton Heat you are the nicest guys !! Thanks for your music
The key guy is an ass kicker. Liking the band these days.
One of only two bands I'll listen to a Christmas album by. Endlessly entertaining.
Their version of "We Three Kings" is stellar
The addition of the jumping piano is fantastic!!
Jim is the coolest, they're all good, damn, the keyboard player!!! This also proves the point that if if you have a great drummer you have a great band.
Lord have mercy wow love these guys
Just saw them for the first time a few weeks ago. Blew me away. Awesome band to see live.
So bad ass!!
Dig that jacket!!
Great to see Lance with the band, so awesome!!!
Wooooo seen these guys every year for a while in L.A
Love these guys . Legends forsure
Galaxy 500...YEAHHHHHHH!!!!! Loving you guys for years, Black Christmas 2019 Detroit at the Majestic Theater was a great time!!!!!
These guys are the best! :D Thanks so much for uploading this - just saw them here in Atlanta that same night & it was rockin! I also got to meet/talk to Jim - very cool, down to earth, real musicians...so glad they still tour - everyone should go see the Reverend if they get the chance! :)
Jimbo is a treasure!...great musicians and fun guys!
Long live Rock n Roll! Rippin’ Rev, F yeah!
This is so top notch! It doesn't get any better then this.
The Rev!!! Laying it down like it should be. I will own that Gretsch one day! Might have to skip meals and pick up an extra shift at work for a little while, but you will be mine!!
That's the spirit, Jeff ... And rock on, my brother!
I lost mine feeding kids in the 90s, never could get the bread to buy a replacement (71 Superchet), finally built my own (see profile pic). It worked out even better, I got exactly the pickups and tone I wanted, its basically a late 50s Country Club with the Dynasonic still in the bridge.
Every song/video I see, gets me more into the FANATIC zone! Love this guy and this band!!!!
Thank you Paste loving this!
This sounded great.
Best. Ever.
Amazing killer act great players great songs love the humor in his music
Saw these guys again last night in Bend. Was so awesome they played with Lance and Bloodshot Bill. I love these guys play with a big smile on their faces. Truly amazing band live.

Keyboard player is super hyped , but I guess who wouldn’t be. Killer mullet pompadour too
Love these guys..... They really do need more traction.. imagine a booze filled sock-hop! Who tf dosent want that??
❤❤❤
G-500! My BF let me take his '64 Galaxy 500 convertible coupe out one day & piloting that bad-ass ride, I felt like the god-king of all I surveyed & DAMN did that car got positive comments from people as I passed. Point being: TRHH = musical savant.
That killed some ass. Thanx Rev.
This is the most savage version of Galaxy 500!
Rev it up with the Rev! Throw furniture!!
That Lipinksy guy - Ace Ventura's long-lost brother? He's superb - really adds to the show. Couldn't love this band more if I tried.
Kings and Box was the golden era of the REV...he is Legend.
Saw these guys a few years back. Badass fellas aha. That’s coming from a guy who listens to Gunna and El Komander
It's martini time.. but I like bourbon.. you do the math..oh, my watch is slow.. merry Christmas!
I smoked a joint with him back in 2000 at Linda's Doll Hut in Anaheim CA he walked up to me and my friends and asked us for a Marijuana cigarette lol and had a shit load of it. We smoked him out that night
Is the drummer Al from Home Improvement?
AAAAAAAHAHAHAHAGA
wow
Arjuna was such a good fit
Earn the chops!
I want to hear Wiggle stick!!
Saw these open for ZZ. TOP @The Tower Theater in Philly could see 2 better 3 piece RocknRoll Masters OUTFKNSTANDING !!
Is that the fabulous Lance Lipinski on keyboard?
What is making the clicking sound a 2:32? Did not look like drums, was it bass?
jimbo slaps that bass
ass kickin'
That keyboardist man...
JIMBO!
How tall is jim? He makes that big 6120 look kinda small
Yer a lucky fuck.. great band
Damn. The Rev is getting old... Shit. So am I.
yeah man. it happens fast. I'm not too far behind him in the grand scheme.
Que rayos hace lance lipinsky ahí?
I'm wearing a head set and still can't hear the words because the muse is way to loud and it is drowning out the words.
I keep thinking Ralph Macheo from Parks and Rec is on keys
I do believe that P Paul Fenech is the Godfather of Psychobilly/punk, never heard of this dude but hes fucking ace!
Just looked up Rev, The Meteors started before him, P P Fenech is the Godfather!!
Seen The Meteors many times in the UK in the early 80s they played with many punk bands I believe they were on WXYZ a punk label that also had Anti Nowhere League and Erazerhead
keyboard guy reminds me of young al cooper
"Um....uuuuuuuum uuuuuuuum.. " introductory guy sounds like he is from NJ or Nyc
What this was missing was more commercials.
I don't know what I'm doing. LOL
Rev' Horton. : Rock'n'roll bible! Sorry than the guitar is a little bit behind.
RHH is alt universe Hetfield.
8:15 big oof
why the the man with piano had an wig??
The bass drum way to loud, messing up the song. The band should be in the back ground and the Guitar and piano should be out front. Missing is your problem is keep it from sounding like a lot of noise.
I like the mix here. The bass drum drives the song, and I think it's at just the right level
That’s tight crap. I’m a bigger fan of the Rev and Mike Hosty every day.
Painful!🙈
don't like the kyboards...kills the power and mix on the Rev's guitar
