I know quite a few people who call this their favorite! I've always had a bit of an issue with the elemental coorespondances here, but it's a great deck!
This is such a great deck. Weird and fantastical and wonderful and dark and even funny. I found the book disappointing because the author does not address the specific and at times powerful images in the cards. Many cards have elemental sigils, runes and other esoteric writing and she doesn't talk about them which was really a missed opportunity in my opinion. However I still really enjoy this deck. Thanks!
I felt the same way at times. There is a key in the book where she lists some of the symbols and images. She discusses some of them. But then there are other cards -such as the hierophant- that really needs strong explanation and she just sort of drops the ball. I agree with you!
I'm gifting this to one of my best friends along with a tarot journal. I can hardly wait to give it to her. She's been wanting one.
