I planned on fishing a small lake in the mountains filled with big Tiger Trout, but due to the snow covered roads, I had to bag that idea and do some stream fishing instead... and i'm not complaining! I fished 4 different streams and caught three different species and did some camping deep in the mountains!

Hahaha your lemon jokes/philosophies/phrases are awesome 😂brother
Another absolute great video ..
Onward and Upward is the watchword.
A very good video. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome!!! Fishing in windy conditions is tough sometimes! But you seemed to do well! Loved the cooking portion of the video! 👍
Great video! Really love the Catch, Cook & Camp videos!
My mom used to make pancakes out of that Jiffy muffin mix and it was SO good.
Awesome!
Great video! Loved the multi day/multi creek approach. Dope!
Glad you enjoyed!
The battery pack you got will help but won't last all day. I bought a $15 slide on usb clip for my drill batteries. I already have the batteries and it clips on my belt like my phone. A 3amp battery will record 10 -12 hrs 1080 with 60fps. I just leave it on all day. This makes it tons easier to edit later as well especially with longer videos since it is all the same segment. I never have to wonder if I forgot to turn it on or miss important footage. I even get spur of the moment footage I wasn't expecting. Drill batteries quick charge and are as strong for their size and weight as any pack you can buy. FYI 👍
Another great video! Thanks for all the adventures
Thanks for watching!
Creeek fishing is still one of my favorite activities. Keep up the good work 👍🤙
New sub.. Finally a trout fisherman, loving it! GBY, going to watch all your videos
The drone footage is baaaaaaaaaack!
Thought the exact same thing!
Yeah man!
The Lehi Roller mill muffins are great especially over the campfire. 👍
Good stuff man
Such a great video! It makes me want to go camping and get out of my hot house😊🌲🐟
I love your vids so much! You do the same fishing as I do pretty much. I love just hiking into alpine lakes and creeks that nobody fishes. Its so much fun! I want to catch a splake so bad. Awesome vid!

These longer videos are great!
Awesome vid man

I just found this channel and it is amazing! Great video. I do have one recommendation trout anre berg sensitive and when you are handling them and releasing them you should wet your hands to keep there outer slime layer and keep them healthy😀
I really dig the creek fishing...
I love you and all your videos! You are awesome’!
under that bridge is always money. Words of advice get some hiking boots it will give you way more stability warmth and traction. Also panther martin beetle spin yellow with red dots is the lure to use there.

Thanks for watching Dwayne!
Great video man, keep doing your thing.
Thanks man!
Those 8 or 9 inchers are what we get out of small creeks here in northern MN. Out of creeks maybe 3 ft wide but usually surrounded by thick brush so no casting
The technique on these small creeks is to pull your worms on a small hook to the end or tip of the rod. Then poke it thru a brush opening and open your bail then let it drop so it really splats. If there are fish there they pounce on it instantly. Give out just a little slack if you feel the bite. Wait a minute and reel it in. There’s a bigger creek that’s maybe 10 ft. wide that has bigger fish but much harder to work. Artificial baits won’t last long as you’ll be tangled, snagged & snapped off.
love the vids! been subscribed since around 400-500!
That’s awesome man! Thanks for sticking around!
When you make your batter, make it kinda thick. Then cook it in your skillet like pancakes
Ron in Los Angeles
Went to mill hollow yesterday and kill it there. Bunch of stocker rainbow couple tigers and a brookie!
Right on man!
Thanks for sharing your wisdom! Throw in your own lemons! 😂
My office operates a stream gage on the first stream you visited. Just a little bit downstream from where you were at. I always wondered if there was fish in that little stream, I figured there was, but have never seen them. Now I know. Also, I can't believe you would have to deal with springtime wind in So. Utah! The wind never blows here! Haha.
Yeah I know where you’re talking about. The lake that’s up on top of that mountain feeds that little stream and there a lot of brookies in that lake!
BRO!!!! 7:40 made me laugh out loud! I'm watching this at midnight in an office and got some weird looks. That was just too funny!
Your Pole: "YEET"
Haha I’m glad you enjoyed!
Try Joe's Flies, I prefer then over Rooster tails. They make them with smaller hooks good for them small dudes. You can find them at walmart for a few dollars, all colors and sizes.
I don't hear many people talk about those lures, but when I was spin fishing... Man that thing was unbeatable compared to Rapalas and other brands of spinners. For about a year before I learned to fly fish, those were all I would use in only three color patterns and one size. Such an underrated lure.
@@jayk.2276 I agree, I prefer them over Mepps and Panther Martin. Cant beat that treble hook with the trailer hook. Caught many trout with them. Most of my brookies were caught with Joe's Flies.
dude .....subscribed...
Keep up the creek content!! Try Farmington canyon creek in Davis county
Yessir
It is bad of me that I fell off my chair laughing when you tripped 😂
Lol me to😅
you've gotta start fly fishing for those brookies. Way more fun
Fly fishing is great! If your old and have absolutely nothing better to do with your day.
@@TheKrjr13 hahaha nope you just have to have the correct knowledge and skill, then it is much more successful in the correct time and place.
I will soon!
Yes that is true okay
Now yourew cookin with fire , Dude. Onion rings, fries, battered fish .Yeah! Try a mixture of cornmeal ,bread crumbs, egg, milk (powered) if thats all u got butt! , lemon pepper blend, sea salt ect. . It works !
Ugly sticks the only pole to own!
A friend broke one when he slammed the door on it.
Coulden believe they gave him a free new pole to replace it.
I'm pretty sure I've fallen into that same hole in that same spot. filled my whole boot with mud. lolz.
I’m thinking of taking a kayak down into that wetland area and see if I can stumble upon anything cool..
where i come from people prefer pan sized brook trout to the bigger ones, they taste way better!!!
You should get some camping solar panels for your GoPros man!
👍👍👍👍👍
It's too bad you can't keep those small brookies. We can in most of the brooks here in MA. They are so good to eat. Nice video.
He could have kept them
@@calvinvesco9883 Oh really? I thought he said they were too small to keep? or did he mean personally they were too small for him and wanted bigger? Just curious. Utah is a long ways from me. lol
@@newenglandoutdoorlore yeah just too small for him. Certain waters may have size restrictions but most don’t
@@calvinvesco9883 Thanks! Nice country out there.
Go fishing at Schofield reservoir
Can’t it’s shut down cause of a wild fire
Man how do you not have more subs? I just found you on the CZcams home page. Great content, looking forward to seeing your channel grow! Those hybrids look fun too, are they always pretty slender?
I’m glad you like the videos! I have noticed that those particular fish are always more long and skinny, unlike regular brook trout that get really fat.
@@bassntroutfishing that's pretty interesting, thanks for the reply. We have some hybrid panfish out here that always turn into butterballs, so it's interesting to see the opposite as well!
Could you recommend some nice fishing spots deep in the mountains of Utah?
Poor lil bud was just enjoying the sun in shallow, when an alien tried to abduct him! lol
😅
RIP the rod!
You should do a baitcaster video
Some Chains would really help
😊
I have been watching your videos for months now and still have no idea what your name is
Do you do any fly fishing in the streams and creeks?
i don't typically fly fish, but im getting more into it!
You should carry a change of clothing,in addition to some sort of a safety kit,you never know😄
Do you know if there are Bigfoot out in those woods?😊
What is the best trout lure in your opinion
Repala count downs and mepps spinners. Says it in a couple of his videos
Thanks I'm trying to find the most popular trout lure
My personal all time favorite is the black and gold panther Martin.
Black and gold panther Martin for creeks 100%
Garden worms.
What creek is this if you don’t mind?
Where is this?
Hey man, weird question, but what lb test line and brand do you use?
6lb fluorocarbon , and just the cheapest brand they have at Walmart.
@@bassntroutfishing awesome thanks for replying! Love the vids man. They get better and better each video👊😎 hit Boulder mountain next😜
P.S. have u ever tried Bisquik ?
Can u post link for fire starter
there are a few things you need to change in order to blow up with subs... but you will figure it out as you keep dedicating your self towards your channel, you have the appeal, sand off the edges, learn better editing .... im happy to have subscribed to you at 10k subs because i know one day it will be half a million.....Oh yeah get a rod holder... or make one out of PVC/abs tubing
Get the atv lol
Would not waste my time on making a fishnet and catching something and then releasing it that's crazy
Why you fish for food if you're going to throw them back
a tip for you, WET YOUR HANDS BEFORE YOU HANDLE TROUT!
I appreciate your videos, just a tip for future. Your dry hands damage the trout's skin. Your salt on your hands will damage them. Again, a tip if your serious about releasing fish!!
Ok thanks for the tip!
All day of catching no fish is nothing. Try going a month catching no fish. Helpful tip never leave excess tention where the rod is in a constant state of flex. When theres constant flex in the rod it breaks. 😢
Use Powdered Milk.
you shouldn't skin them
Just cut your vegetables first bro
