When exactly was spring this year? In most states, spring starts in March and you are mowing the lawn before April. Maine does not have 4 seasons, people who say that have never been away before. Not picking on what you said, just sayin' for other people. I grew up in Maine and the weather there is probably worse than all but a few other states. And yet I'm moving back for late June to late August because that is when 'summer' is.

Sorry you feel Maine weather is the worse than all but a few states. I love it here and own a farm, grow organic food and enjoy spring, summer, fall on that patch of dirt. @AndrewMooersmainerealestate look - when the young adults, born and raised in Maine, decide to stay and live and work in Maine, pay taxes in Maine, but can't afford a house in Maine - their HOME state - there's a problem. One of those kids has already left a message with Mill's office about this unfair situation. Go ahead and bring in all the outta staters you want who can obviously take on 850 000 to a million. While everybody else's property gets reassessed.
@@recentlyretired we've given this plenty of thought - keep the HOAs OUT Higher taxes for those who CAN pay exorbitant prices SHOULD PAY higher taxes those that buy high should be property assessed at a higher rate and leave the other properties alone AND if you have it all and own 2 houses living part time in either you should have PLENTY of taxation to keep you ccupied for th rest of your life. Don't post unless you have something to contribute.
