I’m actually quite glad that it does not. That never happened on the show and I was never really a fan of the electronics that have been produced and do that.
The dustbuster prop had ten LEDS in the power bar as did the actual cricket. FE did eight on both. But promise their other phasers will have the correct 16 the props had.
The beam intensity indicator lights on that thing is WAY too bright, and the beam indicator should have ten levels, not eight... AND these things go for over $500? Yeah, no thanks. I'll go for the Stapelton version because although his is a kit that requires assembly and painting, at least his version is a LOT cheaper (only around $100 or so) and actually has all ten beam setting levels on the indicator and the lights are a comfortable illumination.
I don’t disagree at all. I’ve actually been in contact with Factory Entertainment about this issue. I believe that they are working on this for future models. I will say 2 things though, this unit is a fantastic product if, like me, you don’t possess the skill or vision to be able to assemble a prop kit with any degree of success. Also, this thing is SOLID metal. It has the weight and feel that I would expect such a device to have if it were a real defensive weapon.
I heard Barry say to a guy in the video that it’s probably in the 700-800 range. Which IS high…but I paid almost 3,000 for mine and it is my pride and joy but the features they demonstrated in the video on Facebook made my knees go weak!
I Bet Johnathan Frakes owns a few of these , , ,😸👍
Mine is on its way and can't wait to see it. I just wish that as you adjust the intensity to disrupt that the lights would be red. Nice review 👌

But you should watch my second video. I found a random setting!!!

The term is "Radical Dislocation". It's a science term for removing something. In cars, in surgery etc.
I was quoting 7 of 9. Shortly after she was cut off from the collective…
@@CJSayz2 yes I know. She recommended a "radical dislocation"
@@adamsmith4787 dammit!
Dust Buster... Shampoo bottle more like it. That's why I liked that first TNG phaser. So many bottles could bw phasers.

Sure hope there's no bleed thru on the medical tricorder. Anybody hear anything about a price/ release date? I know it's in 2024, tho.

Much louder than the cricket?
