    As the mother of a adult son with Down syndrome, you dear young women melt my heart. You are making me cry, but they are thankful tears for you dear sisters who loves so purely and give from the heart. I am so thankful for you. God bless you always. I have always loved our Savior Jesus Christ, but when I converted to this church over 45 years ago, I saw what I see today. President Hinckley said it best when a faith leader from another religion noticed we do not have a cross in our chapel. He asked what the symbol of our religion is. President Hinckley said the symbol of our religion is the lives of our people. Thank you God for sending Maddie and for sending young woman who truly are trying to be like Jesus. It's great to know that your friends and family love you. I hope you know that God also loves you. When it feels like everyone else in the world has turned against you, you can know that God is just waiting for you to turn to Him. He knows you and He loves you so much. And when those hard times come, He's right there, standing beside you.

    I am a mom of a son who has autism. This is an amazing story. Having also worked with YW on their personal progress, it is difficult sometimes to get them to work on their own projects, so I am amazed they could do it by proxy for someone else.

    I have testimony of YW.
    I was one of them so with my experience I'm going to share this.
    This is very serious.
    I know not everyone is perfect but there is such thing as free agency and free will. That's why you made a covenant when you whet baptized, you made a decision and you knew between what's right and what's wrong, it's your responsibility in your actions and decisions.
    So keep that in mind with what I'm going to say.
    Young women be true to you and others. Don't pretend don't put one face at church but put on another when no ones looking. This is not a game being LDS, learning and in process of getting a medallion is not a game, it's a way of life. This is your heart and other peoples hearts, for your family and future.
    Be true to your faith by being the example without pride and wrong feelings. Don't get into group cliques. Don't bully. Don't be the same like everyone just to be accepted or survive in this world.
    We are a peculiar people. And our example is Christ.

    A lot of people reject people with autism or any other mental issue. But it's not their fault they were born that way; it's just their trial that they have to face on this earth. But they don't have to face it alone. We are not here to reject them just because they're different, we are here to help them through their trial and comfort them and love them and to be their friend. Everyone is a child of God, and we should treat the like they are. Just like they did in the story. Thank you so much for creating such inspiring videos ❤

    • @Zavannah-si4oz
      @Zavannah-si4oz Před rokem

      @@elenalohrey1971 I guess, for some of us, we can't help but feel sympathy for autistics. We can't really imagine what it must be like for you guys and we admire how you guys push through life and through all the rejection. I always think of autism as a super power because all of the people that I know with autism are actually very smart! Some of the people with severe autism usually can't talk very well so it's like they're trapped in their own body. But give them a computer, and they'll type away everything they wanted to say and they understand everything anything any other person would understand.
