In fairness, Dublin may as well be another country. Whenever I go up there I feel totally out of place, and this is coming from a Clare man who lived in Cork for two years (where I never really felt out of place to be honest).

Just came back from Wexford and visited court town/gorey and it was great weather and lovely beaches and forest, a lot different from meath😅

I know where Cavan is but that's only because my great grandmothers family the O'Briens are from there and what the man said is correct it's in Ulster geographically but isn't part of Northern Ireland it actually belongs to the republic one of the few that is in the north that does

Ok, hold up HOLLLLD UP. When that guy said that Ireland's tourism would be screwed without Dublin I lost it. So what Dublin is the capital, I find that places like Galway attract more tourists because it's in the west, where there's a lot of rural areas and where tourists from America etc visit because it has more 'greenery'. And usually whenever I see a programme about Ireland on TV, they always mention Dublin even though it has nothing to do with the topic.
Ok, I'm finished now. I just needed to let out my rant
and Dublin is where the election debates are mainly focused

They essentially asked the Irish equivalent of the people of San Diego (based on intelligence not geography) and they expected good answers
