🍀👍The video is very well structured and easy to understand, thank you. But the video really confused me:
I thought until now that the adjustments with tonal balance control had to be made using the equalizer, in the drop-down menu at the bottom. This assumes that an izotope plugin such as Neutron is inserted in each track. Of course, there can be a different equalizer in each track, but then, if I remember correctly, you can't edit it directly in the tonal balance control drop-down window. But here in this video, the mix with an ideal tonal balance curve is controlled exclusively using the volume faders, there is no mention of equalizer adjustments here at all. Have I been doing something wrong with the izotope tonal balance control plugin the whole time? Because I have never adjusted/optimized using the volume fader, I have only ever optimized the equalizer settings in the respective tracks to ultimately get a recommended curve....🤔🥴

Hawk! So I seem to have an issue mixing in Reason. I love to use it (it's my DAW of choice)...but when using more plug-ins, the mix kinda starts to fall apart. It almost feels like a delay comp issue. Have you noticed this any?
Yes, this can happen when running a lot of plug-ins, especially insert effects. You're asking a lot of your computer. Make sure that Delay Comp is on (Reason 11 on right side of transport bar). Also, when mixing, turn the sample Buffer Size in the Preferences/Audio up as high as it can go. This isn't something you want when you're playing/composing, but for mixing it will give your computer more buffer time to process signals. Good luck.
