HEY JOSH!! Just wanted to show my appreciation for your videos and life mission. I started watching your videos when you very first started doing abandoned walk-thrus because of my love for urbex. It's amazing to see how far you've come and how much you've been able to do with your passion. It's super inspiring to the millennial generation to actually see someone doing what all of us dream to make possible. I imagine with all the places you've explored and all the people you've met, opportunities knock on your door daily. I just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration and love of life and history and nature!! your species is hope for the world today. I hope that you take your potential as far as you possibly can, I hope you can use your knowledge and exposure of the rest of the world to eventually go to college after youre burnt out on travelling, or get involved with communities and social work to spark American youth's interest in how cool history and education can actually be, and even to help educate children in other countries too. sergeantbigmac you clearly haven’t seen a majority of his videos he’s really respectful and mature when it comes to exploring places for his subscribers. He may have some dialect where he says “yooo” or “bro” half the time but that doesn’t define who he is. You should see his videos of him exploring more serious places like “suicide forest” and so many more, he’s nothing but respectful and his choice of vocabulary is serious and not messing around he doesn’t show those serious places for the fun of it he always goes to those places to get a feel of what it’s like and to pay his respects, he doesn’t have to get it on video for us but he does cause he knows some of his subscribers would like to watch and pay their respects as well. So if he went to a concentration camp he would be nothing but respectful and serious so quit judging when you haven’t seen all the sides to him.

Josh, you should explore some wrecks under the sea. The only Thai g is you couldn't commentate but you could always commentate over it or put some music in after. As a diver myself, the idea of going to dive a wreck gets me stoked. You should try it man :)

I wonder how he gets the $ to travel like that? and everyone crying about the duck needs to shut up. Do you even think? First of all why would he "set it free" obviously it's someone's and doing so is pretty much stealing a pet or meal (doesn't matter which, it's not his animal) and he's in a foreign country not America were you can get arrested for torturing or mistreating an animal. Trying to "save" the duck from being killed or not fed to obesity getting bottled water with ice cubes in it to drink and it's own pond, like some of you seem to think it needs is something that could possibly put him into trouble legally and physically by who ever claims that duck as their's, doesn't sound worth it to anyone with common sense. Also it has food and water (doesn't matter if its dirty people can drink dirty water and be fine but it tastes funky so we don't like too) and how else are you going to keep it from getting lost or running away unless you tie it up or put it in a cage? if you ever had a duck you know you can't tie anything around it's neck or it will just slip off unless it's a noose, so it's pretty comfortable with a cotton cloth tied around its foot and not chained up or caged so it can't move and sits it its shit all day. You people are idiots go cry about everything that distracts you from the real problems.

5 short years ago people were celebrating at this restaurant and now it's closed and abandoned. I love animals and here in the west we treat our animals as family. We give them Human characteristics. HOWEVER, they are animals and don't think or feel as we do. Is "the duck" the only thing you can take away from this experience? Look at the Beauty and workmanship that went into building this restaurant; the jobs that were created for the people. See how bad the economy in Cambodia has become in such a short period of time. Think of the men, women and children whose lives were impacted by the closing of this business. 100's of Humans vs. 1 Duck. IMO it should be a no-brainier. For those of you who chose the 1duck may need to rethink your position and take another look at the greater good.

Not sure if a big restaurant going bust is a sign of a bad economy. Cambodia is rapidly developing, perhaps newer & nicer restaurants came up & the owners couldn't rebrand themselves in time. Maybe it was too big... high electricity costs to cool & light the place, salaries to pay the staff, rent to pay for such a large space.
