I saw Halford on this tour, cost me $1200, but what a Pilgrimmage! I saw the second date in Montreal. Life-changing. He killed it on Resurrection that show too!
I am actually tearing up remembering being there in that crowd, seeing my idol, and hearing these words, 10 feet in front of me.

This whole album is seriously a top metalalbum of all-time contender.
No mediocrity here, what we have witnessed is halford, metal powerhouse and king of the road, 99% of the population could come nowhere near to this light being and experience him as a blur shooting by over their heads. Razor sharp display of sheer energy in your face!
I remember getting the cassette tape of this when it was a promo single. Had this track and "one you love to hate". I played that tape so much in my Walkman while going to school every morning that the tape eventually broke. STILL one of my all time favorite tracks. There's just a certain "to the point" rawness. The guitars and drums have a unique heavy tone and sound. I really wish I still had that cassette tape because I really treasured it that much

I don't know how he's doing it but he's sounded better than he has in years lately. I can't wait to see him with priest in Concord, CA. He's sounded absolutely amazing in all the recent live videos I've seen.

@errbeom 2010 japan, is incredible but believe or not Halford really sang it this way, there's no overdub or anything. I got the feeling that he sings way better with his solo band than with priest

Big difference from 2000 - 2001 in his voice. He just can't do resurrection like he used to. Understandably so.
sabbathtribute listening to live insurrection did he really sing all those songs in that octave range ? He held notes for 15 seconds on some of them . Was that studio magic ?
