Ramblin' Rides with Amber: Episode 3

- Okay, Okay, I know many of you are wondering what new 4-legged critter has joined our farm. I have been giving hints on social media during the week and I have to say I laughed out loud reading some of the guesses. Although Buffalo/Bison came up most frequently in the guesses, I can now put that idea to rest… I will not be adding Buffalo to our herd any time soon! Instead of writing out our journey I thought it would be best to tell the tale in a Rambling Rides Video. Special thanks to my friends Jennifer and Kyra for always being up for an adventure.
I think Amber is a great example of someone who is in the public eye and shares a lot of her life without feeling the need to air dirty laundry dry or overdo the personal sharing. She seems to definitely have a private life that she holds close. The biggest factor in that is that she has a life outside of acting where she has a wide range of jobs and hobbies that are true to who she actually is. She isn’t reliant on fame or personal drama.
So bitter sweet. Saving horses and yet breaking up their families. Glad the little one is in your care.

It has always been my dream to see wild horses running free. I am 66 now and it will probably never happen, so thank you for sharing this video.

I love when I see poeple helping out horses, like you are. All of my horses are rescues and most of my farm animals are rescues to.
I was smiling the whole time until that sad song. Imagine what it's been like for the foal. Glad to know he has a new home and new friends to get along with.
I know as soon as i saw the little foal playing with a stick by himself it was game over for me. The Dam broke and the water was rushing. 😭

That was a story on Heartland. Graham aka Ty did that and spoiled an orphan foal. You told him he couldn’t spoil him because he would have bad habits. Sure miss you and Graham together.

Amber, he's beautiful ❤️, i have a wild horse too, brumbies here in Australia, pinto mare, rising 6 yr old, her family band were bought in, her dam was pregnant at time of capture, and foales soon after... She's been one fiesty filly, she came to me 5 months ago, we've learnt and taught each other so much, i wouldnt change this experience for the world

this is what i love seeing not only because of your tv show but you also showed the awareness needed for wild horses i would just love too come see them once in my lifetime because i personally enjoy seeing them just be free in nature just cause too me thats just natural beauty no human envolvement unless it is a medical then it reminds me what ty was doing with the bears in your show but i love too see more actors and actress with speaking out for the animals all animals me personally i don't like cats but i won't hurt them i will help them and then send it too a new home

I'm in awe. I've been watching Heartland for years. I anxiously wait for each season to come to launch on Netflix. Amy's life is the life I dreamed I'd have as a little girl, unfortunately that's not how the cards played for me. I came across your channel today and I'm awe struck that you basically love Amy's life in real life! Mind blown. It's no wonder you play Amy so well, she is you and you are her for real! This last season that just launched was heartbreaking, I cried through quite a few episodes. Anyways, I just adore you (and Amy lol). Thank you for taking time for your fans.

Oh, this is great. My hubby an I wanted to visit there in the spring but it was by appointment only at the time. I love the wild horses. I’ve seen them out by Nordegg a couple of times now. And yes, one time even a pinto.

I grew up on the "calf camp" of the D Ranch where my Dad worked for 24 years...a great childhood!!
I now call Sundre home..live on a little acreage and keep my horse at a boarding stable. Yes I'm still actively riding at 78....growing up on the D Ranch , riding was like second nature! Two years ago, I decided to try barrel racing for the first time. Had lots of fun and won a blanket for my little horse Corona!!
As we enter into fall and winter, it will be mostly arena riding but that's ok....we just have fun on horses!!!
I love the show and feel like it's real because I grew up on the ranch and Nanton and High River were " my towns"!!!!
I'm retired and enjoying life with my horse, Corona and my house guest Miss Kitty!!
Looking forward to the new season .. .. I was the old lady on the Wild Pink Yonder Ride in 2010..one of 5 that rode the whole way!! And needless to say....an an avid fan!!!!
